This was on Mon Ami Gabi's Facebook page in case it interests anyone...it's vaguely interesting to me but as I'm not a massive fan of French food in general and not a wine drinker, we'll give it a miss I think.

Mon Ami Gabi - Las Vegas On Saturday,October 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Executive Chef Terry Lynch will teach you how to cook a three-course French and Julia Child inspired meal at Mon Ami Gabi. Indulge in these specialties while enjoying a French wine tasting! Cost is $40 per guest. Please call 702.944.4224 to register!
Nice link. As you well know this is my favorite restaurant ever. Will be sitting there in a week or so having Fillet Mignon and a bottle of Beaujolais. that offer could have come 2 weeks earlier. They do THE best macaroni cheese ever, and the only place in Vegas that I will eat steak.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Just looked at our planner (it was the trip with my in-laws where we planned quite a lot more than normal so I have better records than normal).
I just knew you would have one of those:rotfl::rotfl:

ONLY FOR THAT TRIP! And my husband actually made it which caused me to nearly have to take him to a doctor and check that he hadn't been abducted by aliens and replaced with a pod person. So there. ;)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I had a look at Envy again seeing as ferf said it is so close to a monorail station. I had a quick tot up of what we would probably order and it came to just over $100. No way we would eat $150 of food to use the £75 cert and the $25 cert doesn't seem too much of a saving. Just a pity they don't do a $50 cert as I would have grabbed that.

I've just booked a 17 day intermediate car thru Netflights with Dollar for their inclusive standard package for £260 which has already tracked on Quidco at £25.96p which really makes for a great price. The weird thing was that if I booked 14 days the price was £255. So I may as well just let it sit in a car park for a few days. At least it's there if I want it. Even 10 or 11 days came to nearly £200. I'm not sure how they work out the charges because last week the cheapest was £303 for the 17 days.

We were watching a show on Sky Art HD on Ka earlier tonight which brought back great memories.

So much so I went on the hunt for some promo tickets & noticed the buy 1 get 1 for $25 was still being advertised.

I spent ages trying to get something but the only dates we could go (Thursday + Tuesday) weren't listed or had no availability so I decided to phone the MGM & managed to get 2 tickets for the Thursday at the promo - so 2 tickets cost us $146.40 all in.

So after us deciding to hold off booking too many shows before we go we have now got Ka (Thur), Le Reve (Fri) and The Killers (Sat). This only leaves us Sunday or Monday for Carrot Top should we manage to pick up cheap tickets at the booths.

Only 6 working days to go :T

You should be able to get Carrot Top tickets at Tix4Tonight, but go fairly early in the day as they sell out fast.

In 2 weeks time I'll have seen The Killers!
