Ka tickets are cheaper here using the buy one ticket get one for $25 promo:

Re transfers you can just get a taxi from the airport. You can also just grab a shuttle from there on the day if you want, no need to book on advance. If there's more than one of you though a taxi will be at least the same price if not less and will be a lot quicker.

I was told if we don't book them we will be waiting 2 hours in a que for a taxi

I was wondering if anyone had booked any airport tranfers and where is best to book I have emailed for a few quotes but had no replys and I fly sunday(another thing I should have done earlier)

Agree with Claire - just take a taxi...you may not realise, but the airport is really, really, really close to the strip...you can get the shuttles as she said, but if 2 or more of you it's not really worth the small savings for the additional time you will spend while the shuttle waits to fill up, then stops at several hotels along the way.

I don't think you will have a 2-hour queue...we arrived on a Sunday and got in the 6th taxi in the queue - this was the international terminal though. Individual results may vary depending on when you'll be arriving and other flights, terminal, etc...but I really doubt you've got that much of a wait to worry about. Other than a limo or a town car, I didn't think you could even book a shuttle transfer at a specific time - it's just show up and get on the first one you can.

I have tried for all the days we are there but I just get this message

would le Reve be just as good does anyone know?

You could try ringing the box office and see if you have any luck. I saw Le Reve last month and loved it, its my favourite out of all the Cirque (yes i know its not cirque but its the same genre) shows i've seen (O, Mystere, Love). I haven't seen Ka yet so can't comment on how it compares though.

It's all relative...we liked Le Reve better than Ka...now someone will come along to say they liked Ka better than Le Reve...really a personal thing. :)

Yes taxi is the way to go from the airport or you could go for a walk up limo or sedan for about $40-45.

I believe there are only a limited number of tickets available at the get the 2nd one for $25 and they have probably sold out.

Thought id pop in again. AM now getting super excited. 20 sleeps! Just done my visa and bought my travel insurance. (decided to go for the flexicover annual insurance at £26.62 :)) Killers tickets booked.

Am now looking at GC tours. Found one yesterday that was recomended on TA a 14hr walking tour for $135 now just need to try and convince OH. Not sure whether to do this or the helicoptor trip which is double the price and a third of the time. Any suggestions. My OH just needs convincing on the time you have to get up for the walking tour. 6.30am!

My OH is also miffed that the Star Trek thing is closed. Anyone reccomend anything similiar to keep him happy??

    Thanks in advance

Maybe the CSI Experience at the MGM? I think it opens in September.
