Well popped down to the inclusion centre where Ds has to go for the last 2 weeks of school and then he will be going back to school in sept to start his last 2 years we are still looking into the possibility of a different school in the mean time i will also be arranging a meeting as there are some very important measures that we need to put into place if he is to return in sept even if only for a few weeks
right better get on with tea as DS is off to help at beavers he is not happy as hospital say he cant go on army cadet camp because of his hand i have asked for a letter to try to recoup some of the money

Afternoon All

Halight - hope you get the result your are hoping for.

I am pooped today - Sportsday lasted till 12pm - I normally stay out of the sun but there was no shade on the field so I am def feeling it now. Had a late lunch then was in no mood for paperwork. Then had to sit in the stifling school hall for a short meeting so at the moment am fit for nothing.

No idea what is for dinner though we wont starve. Kids in the pool and happy.

Think we are meant to have rain tomorrow morning - the garden certainly needs it.x

Phew its been a scorcher !

Pigeon loft is up DH is treating it as we speak.... will post pic especially for taplady and taplord when it done

A bit of advice please, my neighbour keeps kicking off, arguing with her OH or shouting at her DD or the Dog. The other night it started at 9.30pm and woke our 2 DD's up, we have now moved our patio table and chairs around the side of the house so we cannot hear as much, i've just been out the front trying to spike to sleep (as it's in the shade and out of earshot of mouth almighty) he was just nodding off and she stared puching doors :eek:, slamming doors screaming shouting and woke him back up :mad:. Anyway basically i'm not sure what to do ? don;t want to cause any friction ? Advice please - think of the Battersby's meets wayne and waynetta :rolleyes:

Apart from that it's paelle tonight

Hi all,

Thank you for all your kind thoughts today and yesterday for me and DD3. She had her op she was very brave apart from a loud scream when the put the canula into her hand - that is what I love about kids - if it hurts they say but when it is better then you cannot stop them! She had the pins taken out of her arm where she broke it 2nd June. They have sent her home without a cast just a bandage which is better in this weather.

I have been to w**k today so DD3 has been home with OH. I have not long been home and OH had cooked me Pork Chops with saute pots and asparagus - very nice and OS.

LW I got my scraps bin for the kitchen from Sainsburys for £3.99, it is plastic but holds a reasonable amount and I only have to empty it every other day.

Haven't popped in here for a while. Hermione you seem to have had a 'day' yesterday. It's horrible when your kids have to go through operations and such. Hope it all went well.

I haven't read anything else so I hope all's well with everybody.

I'm enjoying the weather but hope it doesn't get any hotter. I'm looking forward to watching Andy Murray tomorrow afternoon (one of the pluses of being a housewife;)).

Just had couscous salad with roast veg salad for tea. Too hot for standing over the hob.

My, doesn't the washing get dry quickly at the moment?

Eldest son has just gone off to air cadets in his new 'greens' (camo) and his big army boots. Heavens he looks so big! He's nearly 14.

I've been helping younger son do his geography hmwk. He had to find images of French things. We googled 'French Rugby' using the images option. WOW!!, ladies do it now you won't be disappointed:cool:;):D phwoar!

don't know if it's psychological but have taken 1 antibiotic and am feeling loads better - had to have a rowette though to get an appointment

- well what symptoms do you have
- excuse me but I think I'll let the doctor know all about that and not the receptionist

otherwise it would have been wednesday before i could get an appointment.

Ooh, we're off to see it in a couple of weeks. We've booked a gite between Bayeux and Caen. We've got lots planned for our week there; tapetry, landing beaches, DDay museums and memorials, seaside, eating cheese, drinking cider and calvados and finding out just how good my French is....
