expired M & S credit voucher... what can I do?

Ah, it's this year. Okay, that's bit different in terms of timescales. Again, it still can't be reprinted.
There's no harm in asking. Ask for a manager. Do it with a smile, admit you lost the CV and your luck may be in. When it comes down to goodwill judgement calls (which this is - I'm not talking about transactions where a garment's clearly got a manufacturing fault, or we've made an error), the more reasonable someone is the more likely I am to think 'well, they've been really rational, they clearly know they've made a mistake, they're likely to be an 'M&S' customer, this is someone who's genuine and who we'd like back'.
(We get a lot of professional scammers come through the CSD, I'm afraid, and usually the more unreasonable someone is, the more likely they are to be a pro as that's one of the core tactics they use - try to intimidate whoever's dealing with it.)
They may still say 'no', because the store will effectively pay x pounds for your error, (and they do have a limited amount of goodwill £ to give). The T&Cs on the receipts also say M&S isn't liable for lot / stolen / damaged vouchers. But as I say, it's worth a try. At worst, they'll say no. If you do get a 'refund' as such, it's likely to be a gift card or gift vouchers.
Good luck with the vouchers!0 -
It's really great to count on the advice from someone who works there.
You are absolutely right, it's better to be honest and explain exactly what really happened. I will try that at the shop.
Thanks again!!0
