Hello... yes, I am now officially debt free :jbut not sure I've learned anything:o! I want pretty things and holidays:o! This is part of the problem with budgeting so hard for so long that I've frittered away loads already (on a very tight month) on stuff like makeup and foodie treats and I've realised I need to calm down a bit or I'll never achieve the things I really want.

So this time next year I must have saved/done up flat and be in a position to go somewhere with DS that's on my "see before I die" list and not just a last minute getaway cos I'm bored. It's a long list so hopefully there's somewhere relatively cheap in there!

Please help me stay focused and don't let me get back into debt cos I can hear my CC calling me already "come to Greece tis cheap and you'll be DF again in no time..."

Just reminding myself of the point of this diary and refocusing:o:D:rolleyes:!

While I've not got myself back into debt :jI need a slap as I've not saved as much as I should have either:o. Now christmas is coming and I need new tyres and my car serviced so it's not looking hopefully for huge savings this month or next:o!

I won another £10 on BB today and have ordered DS's dad one of the half price picture mugs from Mr T's that we'll fill with his fave sweets and do up in cellophane and make look posh so one pressie sorted...

Back to ebaying this weekend too and might even start some decorating...

and the mug has tracked already giving me another 34p back!

OK, new challenge is to have a neutral spend xmas...currently I am £60 up on the bingo so probably about another £190 to find - yikes:eek::eek:! Still even if I fail I will have made back some of the money. Wonder how much is in that sealed pot... I'm guessing not much but will leave it until end of Nov before opening so might manage to stick a few more pounds from the shopping budget in it.

Back to ebay... at least five items this weekend:rolleyes:.

I was much better last year and the year before Bob but becoming DF has made me a little lazy:o...

Which reminds me... I really need to go dig out info and swap fuel suppliers! Did the checking out yesterday but stopped short of signing up, no I don't know why...

Off out tonight to friends, have wine already and we're picking up a takeaway on the way so should be a nice but cheap night:D.

Today I have tidied flat, meal planned, shopped (including DS xmas gift), done ironing, washed more clothes but feeling quite on top of things. Didn't do any work - oops - but will catch up tomorrow:D.

Personalised card has turned up already...v speedy service for 49p!
