I do have a life but it would be very much enhanced by a nice bathroom:p! and a working shower... when I first moved in I remember thinking "yuk, that will be changed asap"...but now here I am five years further down the line... have had many hols and nice nights out but still have a minging bathroom:o:o! January is just around the corner now... have a slight fear I'm going to save up, call up companies and they are all going to be booked solid till March! but can't book before scraping the money together as that would be tempting fate...

Didn't mean you don't have a life!!!! Just that my friend needs a whole new bathroom and she keeps putting it off so she can have her cash for other things!

it's ok, no offence taken:D! at least her shower only needs gaffa tape - mine decides on it's mood what the temperature will be...generally freezing but sometimes scalding! roll on January:rotfl::rotfl:.

The new bathroom could be the thing to swing it and make you stay...?

doubt it:D! will see how it goes though - would be lovely to walk in and think how lovely it all looks rather than "yeuch!"

I might be but really, really doubt it! I want a house - ideally detached - as I hate noise from my neighbours. There's a house just come up which if only I had done this place up already and had some decent savings would be perfect and in my price range...if only... still I can only work on what I've got! hopefully something equally perfect will appear next year:rolleyes::D.

been a dull, rainy day today - working from home so very, very bored... BUT I'm off out tonight to see my lovely mates... so lots of wine and lots of laughs with a little bit of philosphy and putting the world to rights but probably more giggling:beer::beer:!

Accidentally bought a dress last night so will have to behave myself spendingwise this weekend...:o

Well last night was not cash neutral - I actually came out of the evening better off as pal paid me back some money:j:j. Lovely day here today, bright sunshine and NO rain! This weekend I really need to get flat sorted out again as it's looking rather messy:o...so plan is:

    1. Clean kitchen
    2. Clean bathroom
    3. Wash floors
    4. Tidy lounge
    5. Hoover and dust lounge and bedrooms
    6. Sort out hall and stairs - manky child has dragged mud in everywhere:mad:
    7. Do at least ten comps per day
    8. Do preliminary scouting trip for christmas shopping
    9. Go to the gym twice
    10. Menu plan and buy food for next week!

Would like to get back into ebaying but I'm a bit reluctant until the postal strike is over:rolleyes:...
