Can't believe you are going to be a student and STILL shaving time off your mortgage. That's pretty impressive.
Very impressive. I'm a full-time student and I barely get time to shave my balls, let alone anything else.I love living on the narrowboat, particularly getting up in the morning, however I suspect it is GRIM in winter!B x
Very jealous you live on a narrowboat. Always wanted to do that.*Everybody wants prosthetic foreheads on their real heads*

Wee while since I've updated but have been waiting til finances were sorted and still not done - maybe next month eh? Single again and bobbing along quite happily, studying and catching up with friends so all good here

Went shopping the other day with a Mr T £6 off £40 voucher and a very full freezer now so hoping that only wee top ups will be required till mid December. Freezer seal not great though so might have to look at new f/f now as opposed to waiting til next summer when I was hoping to get a new kitchen.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763

Yes, I was going to prod you to remind you, but I thought you were just having a life...skint_spice wrote: »but have been waiting til finances were sorted and still not done - maybe next month eh? Single again

Why is it "not great"? Try cleaning it *very thoughly* and lubricating it and see how that goes."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hey skinty, glad to hear your enjoying the studying and student life in general
, sorry to hear about the singledom again, of I was that way inclined I would ask ya out, and I'm just sure if you were that was inclined you would accept lol 0 -
Yes, I was going to prod you to remind you, but I thought you were just having a life....
I just thought the student finance stuff would be a bit more straight forward:rotfl::rotfl:I am so naive at times.... Also been a bit spendy but only on bathroom and gardening stuff so still go enough to live off for a while;)...
Pal came round last night and asked if I was ok and I have to say that after all the uncertainty I am quite happy with "him". Lots of running and then some more running and lots of gym visits could be part of that though - who needs drugs:p? Soooo mellow:D!Why is it "not great"? Try cleaning it *very thoughly* and lubricating it and see how that goes.
Just not sealing, door just opens again if you aren't too careful, I will give your tips a go but it's about 25 years old (conservative estimate) so will probably save lots of lecky if I get a new one:o
Can't double quote but Elantan thanks for that, if I were I would;)
Have been down the coast to the big castle for a lovely walk with DS - spent a small fortune on 2 hot chocs and cake but you've got to live a little:cool: and was very good with oodles of marshmallows and cream...Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763

Indeed...rule of thumb: If the government has ever touched it, then it's going to be more crap than a methane explosion at a sewage farm...skint_spice wrote: »Just not sealing, door just opens again if you aren't too careful, I will give your tips a go but it's about 25 years old (conservative estimate) so will probably save lots of lecky if I get a new one:o
If it's that old - get a new one. The compressor will be worn out and will probably be as effective as small child with thumb over the end of a bicycle pump...skint_spice wrote: »Can't double quote but Elantan thanks for that, if I were I would;)

Cream (especially measured in oodles) is always a good thing...

I know, I really should grow up and move across properly:o but since becoming a student it seems easier to stay here and concentrate on staying out of debt as I'm not paying off huge amounts anyway...Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763
