Had week off with DS, didn't do much (being good) and he mainly hung out with his pals visiting me for food:o, we did go for a couple of walks but it was all quite relaxing.

Decorating almost finished in lounge and finally found some curtains I liked so carpet and that's one room done. Paint bought for next room but it's DS's and will require a fair bit of decluttering first:eek::eek::eek: He shall be doing an hour a night this week!

I have decided to join Flylady and use my time off constructively getting this place sorted out. Apparently I need a frog list (list of jobs you keep putting off) so aiming to have that done tomorrow to make a start on monday:D

It's good to know that there is at least *something* out there.

News is that I've had severe toothache since thursday, so have spent friday evening and saturday getting so hammered that I could have had open heart surgery with a turnip and not have felt it.

Yes, I did go to the dentist and that was exceedingly painful.

So the plans for going car hunting this weekend have been knocked on the head.

Current favourite car is an Audi A5 coupe. I suppose getting the Evo would have given greater impetus to learning to ride a motorcycle so I could commute to work and still be able to afford to eat...

Why the embarassed face - surely it proves your food is good tasting?

Or is it that you finished two of them off and the third is touch and go? :naughty:

Learning to ride would be fantastic. You could afford to eat and commute AND enjoy your journey to work. I LOVED IT.

Maybe you need to send the satchel bomber round mine once he's finished at yours. I will probably also do some decluttering tomorrow but only to put off writing about The 2007 Energy paper/Zero carbon Housing/ the various levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes/Behaviour - I sense a joyous week approaching!

That sounds fantastic. And only 5 years out of date too.

I thought you enjoyed reading stuff like that...

I'm going for the Quattro (4 wheel drive) version to deal with exactly that point. Hopefully it should be enough.

Only a little. I've drank a whole bottle of Amaretto this weekend to try to numb it.

I'm now on the brandy...
