Don't think there was much but it was nice catching up and had a long chat with excolleague's partner who I think may become a new friend - she's really nice:) I was relatively sober as there was a 30 mile car journey back (wasn't driving but not great journey when half cut), got a message from a former workmate that I was "fuffin lovely" well not quite but I'm sure you can translate, made me laugh and lots of folk told me how much they missed me. Mainly the ones I miss too:DTell him that shorts and half-mast trousers are all the rage...
He was happily going out like that yesterday and it was me yelling there was no way he could step outdoors like that! He's becoming a man - all muscles and almost as tall as me - a lovely man but where did my baby go:oMortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Had another test drive today. I'll see what insurance say about this one. If it is silly money again, I may justa little and cash in some more savings and get the first one.
This is meant to be a mid-life crisis car, but I'm having problems unscrewing the sensible head.

That's because you are. But of course, coming from me, you don't believe it.

Not been up to much really, just plodding and trying to spend as little as possible despite DS needing more clothes and his birthday just around the corner - luckily he's not asked for much:cool:Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Someone suggested to me last week that I should praise people more. I pointed out that it always sounds like I'm taking the rise when it comes from me..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
