Had a wee look on the Next sale this morning but despite having to wait 13mins to get in there was nothing for DS, despite me seeing lots in store yesterday that they'd marked down in pencil... might have to go brave the shops as brands with adjustable waists are becoming rarer as he gets older and he's a lanky big thing. I had a look for jeans for me too but only skinny jeans and they're just not me... still at least I didn't spend any money!

Have a look in BHS. IIRC they have semi-elasticated chinos.

Chinos? at last look they weren't jeans so would be rejected:rolleyes:! didn't I mention he's turning into a fusspot? we went into town and got a couple of pairs of jeans, some shorts and a nice shirt for £30 so not too bad. just back for a spot of lunch and then we're off to the park for some fresh air.

went to park and had a very long walk but then decided to go to another Next on the way home and bought 2 pairs of jeans for myself another pair for DS and a tshirt for him - still total spend for the day was under £70 and I did get a lot for that. I'm hoping my jeans won't fit me for too long but once I do lose weight (note the positivity) I will ebay them anyway.

ok, it's pouring outside...swimming today I suppose... might get rid of some weight though...We have done lots of walking this holiday but sadly lots of eating too....

Todays list:

tidy lounge
sort out kitchen
ironing
take pics for ebay
buy picnic stuff for rest of week (if it's like this I'll need to make soup!)

ouch - legs are all stiff and this is my only chance to go to the gym before the weekend so I WILL go! Have been staring at spreadsheets and doing lots of calculations... was thinking of selling up and moving to rented but then I'll be back off the ladder again and the only reason I ended up here was cos I'd got off last time... can't move until beginning of Nov anyway as I'll have to pay a penalty of £650 and at this late stage that seems a bit pointless. Have started doing some of the wee jobs round the place and will save like mad until then and reassess.

Sun is shining today so off out for the afternoon after the washing's done - must hang out on line or it'll never dry. It's quite chilly up here today, I'm actually wearing a fleece!

and although I haven't done the ebay pics I have located some more stuff to sell! had a bit of a rest day and watched a dvd with DS, now feeling much less frazzled and we even made some cakes:D. didn't make it to the gym though - whoops:o.

My legs are stiff too...i am too old for climbing walls and stuff.Takes me longer to recover.
