They should always be staked to the ground. In high winds they're a very light-weigh tubular metal structure with a sail attached. Even in normal use, if someone hits the edge, they can flip.
Maybe the Government should run a safety campaign called "Oh my God! Trampoline!" :rotfl:
Sorry - it's going to be a while before that gets old...skint_spice wrote: »Sorry, meant to reply to the question about damage to mine - the flat is fine but the shed now needs refelting, could have been worse....
Do it as soon as you can. Book a holiday only if it's a good one, value for money and where you want to go and what you want to do.

In my defence the happy holidays did refer to the festive season :rotfl:I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. And what did the "Go on - you know you want to" refer to then?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

LOL, I do want to but I'm going to hang off - stuff going on at work that might mean a career change... but I was thinking maybe Sicily?
Also neighbours woke me up partying at 5am  so maybe a move would be a better idea?
Today's plan is tidying, gym and watching lots of christmas films later when DS gets back from his dad's, might manage to make it an NSD as I don't fancy the shops much:cool::xmassign:Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

So stuff is happening that'll mean a career change to Sicily?
You're becoming a Mafia hit-woman?
Did you know Mafia is an MSE naughty word? LMAO...skint_spice wrote: »Today's plan is tidying, gym and watching lots of christmas films later when DS gets back from his dad's, might manage to make it an NSD as I don't fancy the shops much:cool::xmassign:

No, not moving there but things may happen that mean a holiday is out of the question. Mind you as a career change there are worst options!
Confession time... I put my gas/electric figs in the other day and the electricity has gone up a wee bit since this time last year, so not having a sooper dooper gadget that works stuff out I decided to read the meter again the next day...I was so upset that I'd used a ridiculous amount of energy that I was lecturing DS and turning even more stuff off... turns out I had calculated using the gas reading...whoops:rotfl::rotfl:! so we've only used about 11kW over two days despite lots of washing and DS on PS3 for most of the day.... still we can and will do better but it's much better than the 30 I thought we'd used in one day:eek:!
In other news my boots order got messed up and has been cancelled so I've saved some money there I suppose and they are giving me some points as an apology:T.
Was talking to my wee bro at christmas - he's moving house and getting a bigger mortgage but told me he's planning to over pay to cut down the interest paid back... he was explaining it as a new concept :rotfl:- didn't like to burst his bubble but maybe I should direct him here? still at least he's got his head screwed on!
