I would like to report my first saturday night in I don't know long totally alcohol free:o. Do you know a medium glass of red wine is two whole points? I will have to get my butt down the gym very regularly to build up some extra points;)!Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763

Well done on the no alcohol and if you do go to the gym to earn points it will taste so much better:D
I had no alcohol last night either:A although I did have one final blow out with OH in the form of an Indian takeaway (shared with DS though):oBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Is OH up for doing the diet again Lou? if so it might be a good way of cutting down the takeaway spends cos neither of you will want to ruin the diet;).
Today's shock to the system is that a bowl of porridge is supposed to be 35g of oats! it looked toty! now I realise where I've been going wrong all these years:o... I am full though:o.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763

I know with SW you can have one of those individual bags of porridge and it looks about the same amount as what I would end up dropping on the floor when getting the bag of oats from the cupboard:o It does bulk up quite a bit though.
OH is definitely doing the challenge in fact I may just add him to the SS too.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

It did bulk up and it was enough but probably less than half of what I'd usually eat:o. I did wonder before why despite eating healthy stuff and exercising I wasn't losing anything - maybe my portion control was to blame!

I am always hungry about 2 hours after breakfast.
I cannot go very long between eating as I suffer from low low blood sugar levels, I have to eat fruit or a few nuts in between meals or I just end up on the floor:o
In Asda once I had to rip open a packet of liquorice catherine wheels and eat it at the check out otherwise I felt like I was going to keel over, I bet the checkout woman thought I was a right greedy cow:rotfl:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

I find cereal or porridge quite filling Buffy - keeps me going a while. I really have no excuse for putting on the weight:o. Habit and laziness...
I never by the bags as I think they are a rip off, big bag of oats last much longer and there's less packaging...I'm a bit of a pain on the waste reduction front:o!Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763
