How much have you/will you spend today - 6 Apr

I'm new here and everyone so far seems welcoming so I hope you don't mind if I join in.
Today I will be spending £4.95 for my slimming club and then £2.80 for my lunch. I overslept this morning (oops!) so no time to make anything before work.
I may be able to spend less than that depending on timing - I have a tin of beans at work so if I can get to Sainsbury's it'll be the cost of a potato. Or (digging even deeper into work drawer) I have some noodles so I could in fact spend nothing. Noodles with beans though - is that a winning combination?0 -
I hand all the dosh to O.H. She gives it straight back to me.
While we're doing that at least it aint getting spent  We're off to town to start looking for a part-time job for her today which means return bus fares for 2 of £5.80 (Neither of us drive and her son works nights) 20 fags for her £4?? Copy of a birth certificate. Anyone know how much that is...£5? Tea is bought on weekly shop...No probs there, and Gas/Electric meters are topped up...
probably need £2-3 for TV meter Total £20  to include any little emergencies that may crop up...O.H. needing the loo in town for example. This is an extravagant day for us, but hopefully if she gets little job our situation will sort itself out that much quicker You can't please all of the people all of the time,so I've given up trying...I'm on a high getting my life back on track...Hope U can too;)0 -

I was late in last night and so don't have any leftovers to bring today (or any bread in the cupboard
) I've brought in tuna and cheese to put with a jacket potato that I'll buy from the canteen. If there is a good healthy selection on the salad bar I'll buy one too (bit low on my five a day at the moment). Tonight i will buy some milk and a potato to go in the pasties I'm making for tomorrows dinner. Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

my second true no-spend for the week, (can count yesterday as the third if I don't include my rent, which is budgeted for!). But it's enormously helped by the fact that I'm travelling for work and can claim back all expenses, yay.
a lovely sunny, spring day here today too. all good.0 -
Thanks PaleScene, Lewby & JamieDodger...here, have some cake on me: :bdaycake:

Have spent nothng so far but that's only because I haven't left the house yet!
My 5 days of birthday time off will be a real challenge as I want to have lots of fun & be social but it's got to be on a really tight budget!
Day 1 not too bad so far as we are going to a later showing of a film at the cinema which keeps me in the house and not out spending money of course
I have decided to drive to cinema as the council wisely decided to put the cinema in one of the most inaccessible places to walk to in the whole city so faffing about with buses (ha!) or taxis will cost dosh. So I will drive (I have plenty more days to make up for not drinking!) then afterwards we are going for a cheap but tasty bite to eat in a Thai food / real ale pub. I will maybe just have one drink & OH said he will be paying for my cinema ticket & meal too so...should be a cheap night for me!
I will buy a few drinks so hopefully that will be all I spend today. Well....it is my birthday
Tomorrow will be a different story.... Watch this space.
Have a nice rest of day/evening you guys. xBank Balance: In the black for the moment.
