Had call from processing dept today (after I'd rung them to remind them I was waiting for a call) eventually they got back to me, just within the 3 hour slot - they've made a mistake with processing my IB payments due to their computer system not being up to date - it's all a huge muddle
am exhausted and rapidly going downhill,
they've said they'll have to do another clerical calculation - this seems endless - and the 0845 call charges are mounting up0 -
but it's not getting sorted, and I'm so worn out with it, am crazy with worrying about it0

I was informed by the lady caller from the benefits processing department yesterday afternoon that their computer system can only hold details of one appeal at a time - so no wonder there has been such a mix-up
How are they supposed to get things right when they don't have access to all the relevant information.
The lady at the CAB says that if the processing department have to work figures out "clerically" that it can take months - how ridiculous is that?
Better not hold my breath then....................0 -

Finally had call from the processing department this afternoon and I've been told they've clerically redone the figures and there should be a payment into my bank account next Monday - I'll believe it when I see it................
They have admitted to making a mistake and assure me they will be sending me a paper copy of their calculations. The lady who rang me thanked me for my patience.

The dwp have deposited some backdated payment into my bank account, but I have been advised by cab that I should insist on a paper copy of their clerical calculations, that was promised over a week ago but not with me yet. Because they initially paid me the wrong amount for the wrong period (which I had to point out to them) I have been advised to get them to send me written details in case there are any further confusions on their part. What on earth do they do all day?0

This situation has been ongoing for such a long time - dwp still got it wrong, they've paid me some backdated money but they're still mucking me about - muddling the calculations, muddling the paperwork, muddling the reinstsated benefit - CAB have been very supportive, thanks to them -0
