    it's a form the dwp send you asking questions about any benifits you have been receiving since the benefit the appeal was about was stopped

    That information must be available in moments from your NINO so who ask for you to disclose it?
    Don’t be a can’t, be a can.

    NINO = National Insurance Number.
  • Right, though it may be ........am new to this ridiculous procedure
  • I have finally received some backdated IB but only from March this year - I rang the general enquiry line and was informed that I should recieve arrears from November 2007, when I "failed" the med assessment, I tried ringing my local tribunal office at 4.15 pm on Friday 11th July but they weren't answering...........have decided to ring the lady at CAB who has been assisting me and ask her advice as to how to follow this up, will report what transpires, this is hard work, specially when people are in poor health :(

    It would be best to contact the DWP as the tribunal service will have already advised them of the decision and it is now out of their hands.
  • Thankyou healey

    I actually rang the lady at the CAB first and she advised me to contact the tribunal office and the dwp, which I have done............

    she did warn me that I might get a load of gobbledegook from both offices, she was right! The dwp said they'd ring me back within 3 hours as they would need to check with another department as my case dates back to November 2007.

    I predict I'll have to ring them after the 3 hours are up :( why is it all so complicated and confusing?

    I did have a call back from the processing department and it transpires that "someone" in their department has made a mistake and paid me arrears from March-June 2009 instead of December 2007 - July 2008, the girl who rang me was actually very pleasant and helpful, which makes a refreshing change :) She's promised to look into it and ring me again tomorrow.
