Insecure. Why else they would they feel the need to prevent us posting by censoring our posts, which takes hours, and buries them pages back in a debate.
Doce Vita, perhaps you could relay that little nugget for me as you're posting everything else I write.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

WTH, Hamish at MSE? :rotfl:0

What's that you've got under your kilt Hamish. Or are you just glad to meet us allKrusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:
"Buy now because house prices only ever go UP, UP, UP."0 -
Considering Hamish bought at the peak of the market I'm not really sure 'money' 'saving' nor 'expert' apply here. :rotfl:0

Didn't we have a thread before about self interest slanting one's views. Do bears stand to gain (being more able to purchase the house they want) from falling house prices whilst bulls are scared of losing from falling prices. Probably been said before but I thought I would say it again anyway0

Bears are the ultimate selfish vested interest.
They want the majority to lose so they can gain..“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

I think some of them actually think that we will all somehow be better off neglecting the fact that housing is the asset base which props up our banks and keeps our creditors at bay. Truly deluded.0 -

Hiya Hamish.
I'm not getting posts delayed, just the other Troll group stuff.
Very ironic in my case as I think prices will drop some more, I thought you did too.
It's just the lack of warning, notification or reason I find a bit odd.0 -
I suspect that if the moderators did an IP address check on these four individuals there may be quite a bit of duplication....
I think the mods are a bit naive over there. Posting styles are very different for a start. I suspect Hamish would have as much difficulty commenting on the London housing market as I would on his Aberdeen one.
And IP address duplication (and hence probable multiple IDs) is easy to spot and would normally attract a ban, "Troll" status doesn't make sense.
I did confuse one of the mods by getting around a bit, but it's easy enough to see that all bar one of the IP addresses I posted from are all residential broadband ones.0 -

Hi andy, most of us are on mod approval for posts. Takes hours, and is pointless. Deep levels of mod insecurity over there at the moment, but I am pleased to see the levels of support we got. The majority of members disagree with the mods on this one. Of course a lot of them were around last time all the bullls got banned and the place turned into a ghost town.;)“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
