Sarah before you send them back, have a look at your genuine epson carts, just above the chip (with the side label facing you, the chip is on the left thin side. and just above the chip should be a hole) if there is a little hole, take a thin needle and push it into the hole and reset it remove pin, now insert the cart back into the printer, do this for the other carts, now tell the printer you have installed new carts. Inside the hole is a reset button which they dont tell you about.
The ink levels in the ink properties should go up to about halfway. its epsons way to make people buy new cartridges, tell people there half empty carts are empty, so people think their empty and buy new ones, when infact the empty cartridges are still about half full.
it wont damage the printer or the cartridges, .
When you bought the compatibles did you buy the version 6 chip. version 6 is the newest and would work with your printer, version 5 might work, but it would depend on when your printer was made.

T0715 are correct for your model if they are genuine they should have a pic of a Cheetah on the front of the box. I have the sx200 and they use the same ones.

    These are good value

12ml in each cartridge as a epson and you get 3 sets for £12.99,
12 INK POWER cartridges compatible to Epson S20/SX100/SX105/SX200/SX205/SX400/SX405/SX600FW/BX300F latest chip, so you shouldnt see not genuine come up, before buying these do the above and use your old carts, and see if it is them or the new ones. I think you may have bought the wrong cartridges which is why they are not being seen by the printer.

Going by the 'English' used in that Amazon link, these are cheap Chinese no-name imports. Did you seriously think you could get a set of proper carts for £6?
You could contact the seller but I don't think their aftersales service will amount to much.
I would chuck 'em away and buy a reputable set of compatibles, try the Jet-Tec ones.

That's because you are buying junk compatibles. Buy a decent brand and you should be OK, at least they will be guaranteed.

what version chip do the compatibles have. I would recommend you check that they are 6, the newest. When i had a epson dx4800 i used inkpower compatibles and i didnt get a message at all from my printer.
