Exactly,
You are trying to get a Yes/No answer to a complicated question.... in the hopre that the answers will back up your own opinion.
No I was just intrested to see if the board could or could not afford a property to suit them.
This was not to say they would buy or that they would ever buy.
I think most feel property is over valued, but it is good to gain knowladge of what is afordable to us (as a group) and what we feel is affordable.
To my mind they are totaly different subjects.
I can honestly say this is not to back up any point other than to gain info based on requirements.
I still feel property will be falling at least untill the end of the year possibly more, I thought 30% from peak and still do.
That is why I made the poll based on personal circumstance (EG what you need) instead of opinnion.
I see property is affordable to most in my area (it as never been silly realy here and there is a high owner ocupancy levels) but the SE is way over priced, but I cant answer for the south east only for me.0 -
so 50% of people think houses are affordable. Wouldnt true affordability be when 90%+ think so?0

I dint ever think 90+% plus of the population could ever buy based on current housing stock but thats a different discussion all together.
Like I said it is not to support any view it is a poll so gives us an indication.
You can draw your conclusion as you want. that I made sure it was unleading and fair.
What is the point of a poll if it was worded to support a point of view.
the data would be irrelevant.
there is no point trying to sway facts for gain as they become unrepresentative and wrong.
I think most of the elder bears will support me that I am a stickler for fairness and facts whether they support my views or not.0 -
Well i'll taker this 'poll' as a bit of fun.
Anyone studying gcse statistics will understand why you cant take it anything more....
Sample Size = 60/50-60 million people in england. = very very small sample size.
It gives you an indiciation that 30 people think houses are affordable and 30 people dont.0 -

You may want to look at that poll, which this one was created to combat as apparently the poll I created was unfair and biast into swinging the answers to "no".
Very different idea of whether they are affordable in general.0 -

On this basis, all polls are fun.
Also means Family Fortunes is a waste of a TV program, wait maybe it is

What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

It was worded incorectly, and it was public (that sways votes)
you may never get it, but look up how to write polls and unleading questions.
Your were trying to back up your opinion, read my posts to neas.0
