    Can someone advise me please?

Would the actions taken by the OP be classified as Fraud or trying to obtain goods money or services by pecuniar deception? Obviously she has receieved the goods (as indicated both on here and probably by a receipt in the couriers possession), yet claiming goods not received.

I know if I were the seller I would be looking at reporting this action to the police, but it has been a long time since I did my law courses in consumer law and I just cannot remember which act this would fall under.

    Fraud by misrepresentation I believe.

Cheers I couldn't remember if this fell under the "Fraud" or the "Deception" act.

(I must be going senile in my old age, but it is over 30 years since I underwent any legal training in my defense).

Mind you I am 99% certain it is a criminal offense and since its been publically admitted with lots of witnesses I think it quite possible the police might actually get involved on this occasion (Most of the time it seems they are more interested in the motorist, and yes I am a cynic:D).

I have to admit if I were in the OP's shoes, I would close the dispute as a matter of REAL urgency.

I rather suspect that we will see no more of the OP.

Actually it depends if she had dishonest intent - if not then it's not a crime...merely someone being stupid.

Saying that though, once she knows it's wrong to do that and carries on doing it, then yes it's fraud...

    Golden rule:-
If you don't claim you don't get
