Here's some way I live to help me overpay my mortgage (might be of use to you)...

    - Never shop at the same supermarket twice (they all have their own specialisms/ bargains)
    - Always cross-question branded (what are you getting extra for your money)
    - Buy second hand books (gives money to charity too)
    - Don't bother with satalite TV, gym subscriptions etc
    - Don't use credit cards (if you can 't afford it, you can't afford it!)
    - Cook food from scratch (healthier too) and make in bulk (use for lunches etc)
    - Remember with food, it's 'best before' not necessarily 'throw away after'
    - Eat less meat try to reduce portion size if you're overwight (also heathier too)
    - Don't go to the sales unless you actually need something
    - Finally and I appreciate it's not for all... brew your own beer!

Can anyone give me ome additional good tips in return?

Buy in bulk. Toilet rolls, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, shower gel, bin bags etc. all in whatever bulk is best, you can store and afford. Buy toiletries from Superdrug when on offer and get Topcashback up to 9% (last time I looked).

Learn the price of things, so you can mentally compare. Asda for instance has £1 events on toiletries / soaps about 4 times a year with some offers like 50p for a Fairy Liquid. Time to fill your boots then. Buy 100 if you can.
