You know, I'm sure she/they will do all possible to help someone as positive as you.

This country needs more people like you, PaF, instead of lots of people who are a lot more fortunate than you who sit on their bums all day, expecting to be given everything and work for nothing.

Once again, I doff my hat to you. :)

  • So, dd better and been back at school! It's raining as I type and Im not in it for the first tme this week!!!, mortgage paid up to date, free listings on ebay this weekend and Ive had a great nights sleep! If thats not all just great, then my dd and I have just sat and watched Twins. We love that film, and its been a lovely start to the day having a hug too. So, ebay next, then ironing, then relaxing before getting ready for next week. Am on target to achieve a bonus payt with Kl which would give me an extra £100 in my bonus than I had originally projected. Now that would be great as I need some new boots and its my dads birthday later this month! So, focus and keep my head down, work hard and go for it. This year will see us move on, reduce debt quicker, get further on, and do well.

I've been following your diary for a long time PAF and I love your optimism :A

The meeting with the lady from the DPN sounds really positive and I do hope some help comes your way, you really deserve it.

All sounding very positive as usual and great news on extra bonus
  • Yes, I almost feel as if dd and I are turning a corner. Each set of 24 hours is bringing more wonderfulness at the mo and it is showing to me just how important it is for me to remain proactive in all areas of life and to be thankful for all that happens however small. Since last post I wil most def achieve the higher bonus. Have picked up some great new business in addition to my existing customers. So, order values over and above what I projected for this week so far. This means I will most def cover my mortgage and all other bills due out on the 28th Feb, 1st and 2nd March given there is no 29th, 30th or 31st in which to draw breath! Then my three pics went at auction last week. The reserve price for each was £50, one didn't sell, the other two did at £130 each! After commission that will give me £220!! Then my mum called me yesterday. She and dad want to pay for dd to have horse riding lessons. Just how kind and generous is that so every other week dd will be having a 45 min lesson up the road. Then my lady from the charity has visited me today and given me some second hand clothes for me. Have just been trying them on and they are just great. My upper torso is well covered for clothing now in all weathers!! Plus, I have been in desperate need of a new pair of supportive shoes/boots since last week when my main pair I usually wear decided to start leaking in the rain!and she gave me a second hand pair which will do just the trick. I'm wearing them in as I type! What are the chances of that happening? Just amazing. There is def a guardian angel at work!
So, Im working from home today. My one day home this week and I am doing my paperwork, emails and some ebay if there is time later before collecting dd from school later this afternoon. Yes, I am so grateful for everything, and looking forward to less worrying times with such fantastic developments in both mine and dd's life!

Well done PAF. That's marvellous for your dd, I'm sure she'll have a great time!

And I don't know about where you live but here the weather is definitely feeling more spring like, or maybe it's just increasing day length, but the birds are acting as if it's time to establish territories and there are green shoots and swelling buds are everywhere.

I think you have to be so brave and fearless in the winter, especially if it's slippery so I hope the better weather helps you do all you have to do.

  • So, my "new" clothes have been lovely to wear the latter part of this week! Very warm and practical. Is the fact that I have felt so cosy the reason why I have felt so tired I wonder and been asleep by 8pm virtually every eve!!!!I really do feel a guardian angel , I like to think my dh is looking over us. We are just about to get dressed and go down to the stables to book some lessons for dd for over the course of the next few weeks and so I can advise mum so she can organise her finances accordingly. Dd is just so excited. So am I and in truth this helps eleviates the guilt at cutting back financially in so many other areas. Nevertheless, we are upstraight. Bills are being paid on time! We are back on track re the mortgage. It's all a miracle!

So, not the end of the world but Halifax have updated their website and I can no longer monitor the balances on two of my loans which I could access online before. I record everything you see each month in my "Happiness and Health, Success and Wealth" folder!. Instead, after refering the problem to them it transpires I will have to phone them which I object to doing really when it is an 0845 no or go to the branch and ask for balances each month so I will do the latter given I am paying cash in regularly so am there anyway. Nevertheless, with so much uprising in other countries such as Egypt and now Libya so many brave people opposing their leaders, it really puts such minor concerns into perspective! Re work only 2 days into the new 4 week period and have just over £300 in sales already plus targeting at least a further £400 this Monday. Basically determined to exceed £1K in sales by this thursday. So, plan today, get dressed, go to the stables, make a nice chicken casserole for later, do some housework, ebaying, cuddle up with dd and enjoy the day together, no school next week so a bit more flexibility getting everything done this weekend. Just another bit of great news. The National Victims assoc, the charity that support families who have been bereaved through murder or manslaughter. Well, they have officially invited dd and I to another five day break at the end of May. Will enable dd to meet up with other children in the same siutuation as hers that she has become friends with and indeed it will be lovely for me to see the other families too. Am so grateful that they have asked us and want us there. Am thinking I may do some baking before hand and take it with me for the children. When we are out of debt, I will be donating to all these wonderful charities that have supported us in difficult times for it moves me to tears how they want to help. and be there for us and I want to give back to them so much. It's the fact that they believe in me and what I am trying to achieve and for that alone I would want to thank them a million times over, and it makes me think that I am doing ok by dd and all is well, we will be ok, we are ok and how can we give something back. Stables, stables, here we come.......
