Woke up easrlier than usual and have been crunching the numbers. The difference about the me now is that I am not using credit cards for the shortfall and if I just had the money owed to me from the Halifax the books would balance which is heartwarming. Still tight but it would be ok. Ive checked my home insurance direct debits and they are still active on my account which makesme wonder if the Halifax are doing anything at all. I agreed their solution well before Xmas and a month on nothing. Cant chase it till the 2nd feb so will have to play it by ear. The way Im looking at it is that by the end of feb my mortgage payts for jan and feb will have been made, this month tax bill paid and all other bills paid. So, it will work out. Busy day to day. And I need to not stress out about it as I know all to well how that effects my walking and so this note on here is the last time Im going to worry /talk about it. !!!! Look at my positive affirmations instead! My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T0 -
So, the folic acid tablets seem to be helping. The pins and needles are not so bad I think so heres hoping!
Heard from my Aunt who is my mums youngest sister and who is aware of the situation with mum. She wrote to me and enclosed a chq for £200. I had no idea about it until it arrived. She says its between me and her so by that I presume my parents dont know about it. She s worried about me paying the heating bills and wanted to help. Well, it tells me a guardian angel is out there for me and dd. It was only the other day I wished I had £200 give in my finances. So, I will be certainly writing to my aunt to thank her from the bottom ofmy heart.
The school wanted to chat to me this week about dd as she is sometimes emotional there and they wonder if theres anything that could be troubling her. Well, I explained that thanks to the wonderful charity National Victims Assoc who support families of murder victims, I have now got access to counselling through Assist Trauma, 15 hours for me, 15 hours for dd. Although I recently benefited from some counselling sessions after a referral by the doc, all bar one of them was taken up with the situation withmy parents and so this is just another answer from theheavens to help dd and I and Im hoping will help dd as we both cry often and talk about her daddy whenever she wants to but I need to help her be prepared for events we will have to ultimately face such as the prospect of the murderer being released and those sort of things and I need to know how best to support her deal with her feelings about it all and come to terms with the simple fact he wasmurdered. The irony is the sessions collide with when my mum sees dd after school so I will have to explain to my parents and considering they think I make "an industry out of my dh murder" as it is it will no doubt be disapproved of. Oh well.
Must up and away. Its so lovely to be on the computer without pins and needles!!!My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Well, someone somewhere is really shining a light on us this week. I may sound mad but I really do think there is a guardian angel making sure we are ok. Banked my aunts chq yesterday, came home to the post, and have recd advice of a settlement figure of £3410.34 for 2 of my 3 PPI complaints. The Halifax say they will send a chq to me if they don't hear from me, no tmescale given, but they won't be hearing from me. Its the full refund of all that Ive paid in PPI on the 2 loans concerned plus 8% interest. Oh, how I worked yesterday afternoon with a light heart. Thanking my dh, my gran up above, God, life, just thanking, thanking for such wonderful news. Then thinking how to best utilise it when I receive it. Ive decided to pay off two of my smallest debts which total £2600 in total. Keep £200 aside for things Ive been desperate to do but just not had the funds for such as some new slippers, a new hoover, having the carpets cleaned which they've needed for some time now. The remaining amount I will use to increase my cashflow for my business with new developments occuring. This in turn will increase my earning potential as I have big plans for this year and allow me more financial flexibility! Im going to incorporate party plan on a regular basis. I have done it before unofficially in Kleeneze. designed my own stationery, own incentives etc but Kleeneze have now introduced an official party plan package and its too good to not do. Im going to a training next week, and after that I already have the prospect of booking 6 parties when 3 are only required to get started. Asked only 5 customers so far, 4 have said yes, absolutely, 1 said no but would come to one at my place. I plan to have 2 at my place, one in the day, one in an eve. In my younger days I was a Tupperware queen and ironically Ive learnt a lot from my mum who did party plan big time as I was growing up and she won holidays etc herself in the course of doing so!!!I will still do what I am with my existing customers. It will just be a way of increasing my income without physically putting myself in danger in terms of stretching myself physically. Where theres a will theres a way. The plan is to do just 1 party a week either in the day when dd is at school or on an eve when I have babysitting arranged. Its a very exciting development not least because it will enable me to build my business both sales wise and team wise too. My income will increase, my potential to pay off debt quicker too.
So, with the PPI thing, if I don't hear from the Halifax regarding the 3rd PPI complaint by the 6th Feb I will check whats happening there. Still haven't heard from them regarding the Home Insurance complaint. They have until Thursday and if I dont hear I will be on the phone to the Ombudsman that morning I can tell you. Otherwise, my tax bill is covered, Ive an arrangement in place for my mortgage. Everything else is paid. Hanging in there like everyone else!... Off to write my thank you letter to my aunt now. What a life saver she is!My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
