Any tips for Silverstone?
Where to sit or make for?
Renault thing on Sunday:rolleyes:
Not many bad places IMHO.
Stowe or Copse for viewing.
Club for photos, good height difference and close without fencing in the image as it can be avoided.
Woodcote complex is good too and change of movement Maggots, but view isn't as good.0 -
Take your own food. Circuit food is always !!!!.0

Not sure how many of the stands will be open but Copse should be, good viewing there.
Good point about food and drink. Take a cool box on wheels if you've got one, their a life saver.
£3.50 for a CAN of fosters at the GP t'other week. Food varies around £4-60 -
There is another thread from a couple of weeks ago mainly about F1 but most of it will be some use

will totally agree with what flyingscotno1 has said and would add to that list "Bridge" ,you can sit looking at them coming under Bridge into Priory then round Luffield and into Woodcote
I wouldnt have thought the speed will be worth watching ,more like the crashing and bits falling off ,mind you on standard french road cars bits fall off anywayHave a nice day0 -
i went to this last year, just go for a walk around, thats what we done, then took a seat in one of the stands there were plenty of seats available, and you can move around to different areas of the track easily enough. the food was ok when we went, nothing special but a bit pricey as expected.
enjoy the day though and pick up as many freebies as you can!...work permit granted!0 -
from the Silverston site regarding stands:
Will the whole circuit be open and can we access the centre?
Yes, the whole of the site will be accessible but not all Grandstands will be open to the public. The Grandstands that will be open to the public are as follows:
Woodcote A & B
Pits Straight A & B
Abbey
Luffield A & B
Farm Straight
Bridge Enclosures
Copse A
Stowe A & B & C
