Yes Loans & Beneficial Claims
Comments
-
Hi, good to see that Yes Loans is finally exposed on TV. I also saw on a website(think it was FSA or trading standards or something) that this company has been told it has to refind peoples money or........else? So, the more people who report them the more complaints they will get and te more chance of shutting them down.
I went on a goverment site where you can report rogue lenders and reported my misfortune of Wentworth direct. I think we all have to unite on this front to stop these thieves!0 -
I am actually really pleased i found this website as have within the the last hour been contacted by beneficial claims and was seriously thinking about going with them. he did give me all the jargon and then told me it would cost £250, I then told him i could not afford that due to being a student an he tried to give me a bargin by sayin he wud knock 10% off. now Reading what u have all been sayin im so glad I didnt. he did however have a point about my loan, are there any trustworthy companies I can go with now to try an sort out if this loan pre 2007 is ligitamate0

Did your pre 2007 loan involve somebody lending you money? Have you paid it all back?
If not then it sounds pretty legitimate.0 -

:mad:YES LOANS:mad: IS A :money:SCAM:money:
DO NOT USE THEM OR GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS!!!
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I made the very stupid mistake of listening to them sell me a loan and make £10k at £180 per month, sound amazing and that it would be in my bank within the next 4-5 working days.
What loan company takes money from you before you have signed or seen any paperwork???????
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad:
They take advantage of people who are in a very desperate situation and have no where to turn.
Thir promises are fake and the people who work on the other end of the phone should be ashamed and embarassed to admit the company they work for.
You are given 14days to change your mind and request a refund........
It takes them over 14days to contact you with a loan offer.....or not in 99% of cases..
You also do not receive your £69 back.
And in many cases as i have read, they infact take more amounts of money's from your bank account
withought your concent SO BE WARNED.
One gentleman lost over £500.
I returned their application form ripped up and a formal letter requesting the refund of my money less the £5 they are somehow legaly allowed to keep.0 -
I was stung years ago when I paid money to a company saying I was guaranteed a loan, which needless to say never happened, I never bothered trying to claim the money back due to being young and overwhelmed by all the forms I was told to fill in.....needless to say I have NEVER applied to companies like that again.....so........can someone tell me how yes loans have taken £69.50 out of my bank account without my consent when I have NOT even applied for a loan??!!
I checked my bank yesterday thinking BT had tried taken money out they shouldn't have (BT account problem is another thing entirely... sigh), but to my amazement yes loans had taken money out instead.
The only thing I can think is somehow they have got my details from the gmtv cashback site, but I have no idea how as I have never even clicked on there site let alone apply to them, so can anyone tell me how they would have got my debit card details?
Any advice on this would be appreciated as I'm now suffering extreme financial difficulties, and if my bank won't help what can I do?
Also I tried phoning yes loans on the number my bank gave me.....and I was put through to a sales department, I admit I was angry so I wasn't too polite to the guy who answered phone and after 5 mins of him still trying to sell me a loan I told him no put me through to complaints so I can get my money back....I was then put on hold.....for 1 HOUR before I finally had enough and hung up....on an 0845 number no less.....and thanks to bt no home number to ring it from...only mobile which is now gonna cost me a fortune.
Any help or advice someone might have would be greatly appreciated.0 -
First thing - STOP entering all your personal details all over the Internet.
Second thing - STOP ringing them, have you not figured out they will simply keep you on hold costing you even more?
Everything must be done in writing, sent by traceable means. It takes a little time, but that's the penalty for offering all your details up on the Internet (They did get them from somewhere, they didn't simply make them up).0 -

I can't believe they took money from my bank account when I hadn't even applied. Funny thing is my other half has had emails from loan sites including yes loans saying finish his applications, but he hasn't applied either. 1st thing monday i'm going to my bank to get them to return it to me then they said they'll investigate. Is there anyway that someone has somehow hacked into our computer to get the info off it?0

Beneficial Claims are the biggest scam you will ever come across. They are the same company as Yes Loans and a company called Money Worries. They basically lie to you down the phone to get your money and then do not deliver on any of their promises. Their scam is that they are ripping off innocent people and keeping hold of the money for as long as possible, in the meantime they collect all the interest. The enormity of this issue is unbelievable and the Ministry of Justice and FSA do not have the resources to deal with the number of complaints generated by this monster of a company.
Just because they are governed by the Ministry of Justice does not mean they can be trusted. They have not helped one single person so don't be fooled by all the fake testimonials on the BC website. Anyone can write those things!
Something needs to be done about this, they should not be allowed to get away with it. The people who work on the customer care line will tell you anything you want to hear to try and keep you sweet for as long as possible. I actually spoke to a lady called Gabby Cocchiara who claimed she was the company director... she gave me her direct line and promised me a refund within 10 days... 3 weeks later still no refund and her number is no longer in use and she has left the company apparantly.0
