  • Hi.

    A quick question............

I am going away for the week next week. How do I log my mail once I am back home? as I wont be able to tell what day it arrived on?. The last time I went away the OH was home and he put sticky notes on my post which said what day it arrived. This time we are going away together!

EDit: I have filled the holiday dates in about 3 months ago. I have items to post next week even though Im not here grrr, so Im pretty sure that test mail will arrive too. Isnt that annoying?

    Many thanks x

There is an option that says 'unsure of date' likewise with the time. So thats the best thing you can do I think...

If anything arrives just put date unsure, as for mail that is due to be posted, juts do it the week after on same date.

Its happened to me before, so what I did was sent an email (more to cover my rear - it was last yr when they were thinning the posters down), just said that I had a hliday booked in, unfortunately a posting has arived and that your do it the week after.

Anyone done the parcel delivery one. have recieved info through post today and says to wait for instructions to be sent on sending my first parcel, i just hope i am in when it arrives because our sorting office is only open mornings and shuts on a sat. Maybe i should of give this a miss, will see how the first one goes, knowing my luck the parcel will be huge and i will have to walk round town with it, fingers crossed it will be a small parcel.

I've done 2 parcels - both were same size about 18" long by 6" by 6". You receive instructions when to send about a week after receipt. HTH :)

I have got 4 or 5 books of the large letter stamps that I am not likely to use. Would anyone be interested in swapping for ordinary 1st class? PM me if you are interested.
