Basically i posted a while ago saying i hadnt received any smarts for items that are due to be posted next week now [and in the posting guide it said that smarts were required]. Anyway, today i logged on, and i checked the posting schedule for next week. All items said 'Add smart' in the smart column. I clicked on one of them and it suddenly told me that a smart was no longer allocated. And it now says that the item is ready for posting, even though i have not prepared it yet. I'm pretty sure im at fault here as maybe i shouldn't have clicked on the smart tab, but now i don't know what to do. The 'Add smart' is no longer there for the item that i clicked on so do i now add a smart or not add a smart [that is if i had any smarts to add which i still have not received and shall contact them if i don't by the end of this week].
EDIT: Also, i dunno if im the only one, but i don't have the 'Manage my smarts' link at the top. :S
I have had a similar experience this week too. I clicked in to see next weeks postings & saw it had smarts to go in then logged out without doing anything. Today I received next weeks postings, went into the website and mine say prepared too (although I haven't). By clicking around I see I have smart to return and one to keep hold of, so that's ok. (Thanks Stumpy for the advice you gave princess, it was very helpful!!)
Question is, if anyone can help please, is I have a large grey plastic envelope for returning items - do I just put the smart in that or do I need to put the smart in another envelope first?
second questionsorry! is how do I prepare my postings online when the system seems to have done it already? I don't want to click around too much incase I mess it up
.

I think you'll find if you havent prepared items for next week by the Thursday they automatically do it for you, even allocating the smarts for you, regards smart returns you should have a smaller grey envelope or more recently they have changed to a white paper bag they will say SMART RETURNS ONLY on the flap you seal. Hope this helps, If you don't have any smart return envelopes just request some.0

Apologies this is nothing to do with Royal Mail surveys as such.... but its a how could it happen....
Basically we changed some Tesco vouchers for holiday vouchers, sent them off recorded deleivery, as they were vouchers, got my name on them and the holiday reference so no use for anyone else....
Got a phone call from the company who got the letter this morning, as they had to sign for it, bit concerned as the back wasn't stuck down properly, but my sticker with my address was on the back......
The letter was in there...... the vouchers had gone missing........ I turned the computer desk upside down incase I hadn't enclosed them, then remembered I has enclosed them as used my last paper clip....
Could you imagine the fun + games if that had of had a smart in it.
Very lucky that Tesco are reissueing me the vouchers, and cancelling the original ones, and there was me starting to feel quilty with the postal survey, that we were playing big brother. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
