I got canvassed by Royal Mail earlier this year asking if I would take part in this monitoring and I agreed. I answered all the necessary questions and was told I had been successful and to expect postal notification etc.

Since then I've had absolutely zilch. I did e-mail them to notify of a change of e-mail address when I changed my ISP, but considering I was expecting something in the post that shouldn't matter.

I am a bit surprised and not sure what to do now - I expect it's got lost in the post .

Any ideas on where to go from here - or whether to bother?

Apply again - that's all I can suggest. According to where you are and how many they have in your area already. I had to apply twice before I got on. Good luck !

When a test mail item comes in an envelope with a Royal Mail indicia on instead of a normal franking mark, stamp or postmark should this be recorded as a postmark or what? Any help welcome.

No. I dont enter it as a postmark or franking mark. Sometimes when you go through the options it will ask you if it is a royal mail indicia stamp and show you a photo of them. I then tick yes to this option otherwise always say no. I have had no queries or questions.

  • Has anyone had problems with the £1.00 love to shop voucher given for the misdelivery.

BHS would not accept it beacuse they said it is an old design and they are not taken them anymore, it was still in date.

Tried at Wilkinsons and they said the same,

If shops will not take them they should not really be sent out.

.....does it drive others mad when the order of letters on the printed sheet is different from the order on the online system? I've just been preparing my batch for the coming week and 2 are for the same day, so I was motoring through them, and suddenly realised I'd handwritten an envelope that should've had a label.

I know I should look more carefully but I expected them to be in the same order. So apologies if you live in Wilmslow, you've got labels stuck all over yours ( I knew all those labels would come in handy one day!)

Probably just me though!! I expect they've done it deliberately to catch less careful people like me out!

I would phone the helpline tomorrow, tell them what happened. Hopefully they will sort it.

You mean the poster item numbers?

Kantar have always said that the online data is most upto date and to follow that schedule as much as possible.
