i take it by being a royal mail manager i would not be allowed to join this?
The website currently states they are full and not looking for people.

Don't remember being asked about occupation but could be wrong. Would it be against your employment contract?! Although I don't really see why it should be a problem as you wouldn't have any control of the post once you had put it in the postbox.
They have been reorganising their members recently and quite a few people have been sent the "goodbye" email.0 -
I am part of the internal checking system, we post to different managers around the country and record the time it takes to arrive and be returned, we then look at all offices to see where the hold ups are taking place.
Oh well will keep checking the website

Just been kicked off the surveys
Good while it lasted
Me too! I have a good stash of stamps and I have just received a misdelivery survey. I am not too bothered as I hated having to trudge into town just to post a letter! Ok in the summer but it is getting a bit chilly now;)0 -
Well done all you winners!:T
I'm like manila still waiting - and hoping:rotfl:0 -
Looks as though our local posties have not joined National Strike as delivery made today. It included letters overstamped which were sorted at Redhill in the early hours of the morning. Also local letter boxes not sealed.
Anyone else received post today?
Oops - should have read the papers a bit more closely before posting this.0 -
