Is anyone else having problems with the web site or is it just me?

I've been trying to record some received items today but just keep getting 'The connection was reset' messages when I'm about half way through.

After putting in my post code (SA18), I was told I was eligible. On the questionaire, it was asking for a Reference code. Didn't know what to put so just selected NO-CODE. Seemed happy with that so just have to wait and see now!

OMG, I think i've done all this wrong!!

First time had letters to test I had free stamps! - Friday 24 Feb 2012

This is my steps what I did.
    - opened up letter, stickied the tag that was on the 'information label' inside the paper. Where it would say "Please affix R Number label here". Stickied one printed label and handwritten one.

Send it off on the day that it told me too.

Go on net - daily tasks 'view posting plan and enter sent items' followed steps on there then.

    ____

but today received another test (3rd time) - I read clearly and it says "Please remember to retain your SMART" <--- what does that mean?

Also was I supposed to go on net and click [enter recieved item] if so.. where would i find the r number?? is it that sticky label that i had to sticky inside the paper? if so mine says r0000 <--- type that in, doesn't work.

What am i doing wrong? What step are my missing?

Haven't had any stamps since the first time.

If you re-read your training information on the RM site, I think your questions will be answered.

    You enter on the website

    1. details to advise you have prepared item & posting details.
    2. details of any post you receive from another poster not from RM.

You only receive stamps with your first posting until you are fully trained then you will receive stamps once each month.

It may seem confusing at first but re-reading the information does help.

Yeah, does seem confusing! And have read the FAQ and the posts previous on this thread.

So I only enter on site when I have sent the letters. Also if I received letter from another poster right? How will I know if it's from another poster?

So to clarify - the steps that I've always been doing is correct? :)

    Try again
    1. After preparing letter to send, go on site & enter "prepared".
    2. After posting, enter details on site
    3. Receiving letter - addressed to you - no other indication as otherwise wouldn't be much use for monitoring RM.
Open letter & you will find a sheet "receiving panellist" which bears a sticky with an R no. - similar to the one you enclosed in the letters you sent. Enter requested details on site.
When it contains a Smart you need to keep it as later you will be told to include this in a letter before posting but I wouldn't think you receive these when training.

    Any clearer?

    OK, just need to vent.

The individual who sent me a letter received today who had put a bright blue sticky label next to my address label with the day/time and post box written on it needs medical help for limited brain capacity.....

    Bizarre!

Just received a SMART with a franking mark on it. Not current, it was for 18 Jan 2011, and it came in a sealed envelope, but do you think it might have been a "subtle" hint by RM to someone that they knew they were taking part in a survey?
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

Just received an email from "the bosses" reminding people not to put detailed posting info on the outside of envelopes.
