I think you are allowed 4 weeks but I don't know give them a ring, or register the first 4 weeks and send the last 2 weeks when you get back :)

I've booked my July and August holiday and away times with them already so hopefully that should give them plenty of time to make sure I don't get sent any.

But looking at your messages here, it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Maybe they send them anyway, for us to post when we get back knowing we can post them on the corresponding day of the week upon return.
Perhaps booking holiday is just so they can log the days as knowing these ones will be late?
I'm guessing that most of the test things we get sent are part of an automated system anyway.

    - Don't know just speculation!

Does anyone else on here take long holidays? Are they ok with it? I am going away for 6 weeks in the summer and I am a bit concerned that they might sack me with it being such a long time. I hope not because I actually enjoy doing this :o. Do I need to get a life lol?

I go away regularly for 6 weeks in the summer. Until last year there was no problem and I just e-mailed them the dates as the website would not take that length of holiday.
Last year I contacted them and they took me from the active panel to the reserve panel for the 6 weeks. When I came home, I had to recontact them and they put me back on the active panel within about a week.
Like you, I didn't want to be sacked so I am hoping the same will apply this year.

If you are concerned about getting postings whilst on holidays, don't. All you need to do is to post the items when you get back on the corresponding day of the week after you return if you know what I mean. The only problem will be if you have Smarts to return and you are away for 6 weeks like redagila and owlet.
I also like doing the survey as does owlet and many others here.
I think the reason some of you receive mail from other panellists when you have informed Kantar you will not be here is down to other panellists who missed the original posting date and posted the same day of the following week.
Sorry for the long post folks. :o:)

I went to pick my first parcel survey from PO today as i was on holiday when it arrived good job i took my car to town it was huge and heavy got a right shock when they bought it out had to carry it half a mile to put in car before i could do my shopping, no way could i have gone home on the bus with it.
I have given 3 holiday dates since doing the surveys and have always recieved post to send i dont think they take any notice when when tell them.
  • I got a phone call from someone from tnt, royal mail and they said they are sending me the info of what is required. I did the online survey way back last year and didnt quallify. Can someone let me know if you still get paid in stamps or is it vouchers? Thanks in advance.

For the regular postings you receive 1x12 of 1st class stamps and 1x4 of Large stamps each month.
If you do misdeliveries, you receive £6 Love to shop vouchers and you also receive L2S vouchers if you are asked to join the parcel survey.

The parcel is certainly big and awkward to carry but I wouldn't call it heavy as it is just a large block of foam type material. Annoying it arrived when you were on holiday. Remember you still have to post it when you receive the instructions!!

I have never had any problems with holiday dates providing I've given them earlier enough but there certainly seem to be a number of people who do.
