I've had a few "treats" over the year for items that have been incorrectly delivered. The stuff that I may be missing instead you get a nice refund for and usual additional money off vouchers for the next shop.

Me too - one time I had someone else's freezer bag containing 10 boxes of cod steaks in breadcrumbs, two boxes of fishcakes and two cartons of Vienetta ice cream!

The fish lasted me almost a year - my only complaint was that it was breaded instead of battered, but hey, it was free! :D

So how you find out the drivers knew you had complained?

When we get a Tesco delivery they bring the crates into the house and we unpack them, only takes about 5 minutes. I'm not surprised they'd get annnoyed if you're taking 20 minutes. If everyone took that long they'd be charging a lot more for delivery.

i didnt even know you were allowed to take the crates indoors and unpack. i use the tesco naked delivery, and just stand on the doorstep, literally chucking the items into my hall, and up the stairs.

tbh, i quite like playing a game of beating the delivery driver, in that i have to have emptied my crates, before he comes back from the truck with the next lot :rotfl:
Yeah that's what I used to do when we lived in a flat. Dump everything in the hallway and take it upstairs when the driver has gone. Then I discovered they actually advertise delivery to your kitchen, so you can ask the driver to lug everything upstairs instead :p I never asked though, I'm too shy.
