• Wish I'd checked this forum before I ordered a part for my cooker. They took my money over a month ago and I've heard nothing since. No point trying to contact them, e mail not working,no tel number. Tried number given on this site, still no joy. Have to now contact the fraud team at credit card company. Avoid this company at all costs is my advice.
• This company - Spares2GO are to be avoided at all costs. They took my money for 2 dishwasher parts on 24th October 2010. When chased they do not respond to email frequently and have totally ignored my requests for a refund. AVOID. THIS IS A SCAM.
• Advice to other users to avoid Spares2Go is just not enough. In order to help other future users, I propose we should start a campaign to get this company out of business.

I have similar mishap like all other users here, Spares2Go sent me a wrong part which I could not use. Sent it back - so far despite numerous emails chasing for refund and reimbursement of return postage, they just ignore emails and do not reply.

Surely, there is a way to get them out of business! Otherwise, they will continue to harm all innocent customers.
• i ordered a part on 28th Jan, they took my money a few days later.
since then nothing.

no part,
no response from the company to my e-mails other than the first one stating that 'a suply of your item is in transit to us'.
their tracker system is a joke

no phone number to phone and find outt what is happening
frustrating or what!!!!

i suspect from the number of similar complaints they are con artists or totally inept in running a business and wonder if anyone has a phone number?
• I ordered a part at the end of February. Their website said up to 28 days delivery which is fair enough but after more than a month I emailed them to ask if I might receive the item soon. Six days later I've had no reply so I've emailed them again. The amount involved is small but it's still my money and the lack of interest shown by the company is unacceptable. The item might turn up but if this is their idea of customer service they stick it. If the item doesn't arrive it's nothing short of thievery.
• I have used Spares 2 Go twice now and the first time was fine. However, recently I ordered an new water jet hand piece for our Braun WaterJet 500 which we bought in France. Because this machine is not available in the UK, Spares2Go were our only option, other than ordering from Germany or possibly France. I waited and eventually looked up "Spares2Go + problem" and came here. I became worried. However - after a couple of emails I got a reply saying they were looking into my order. Being cynical I thought "oh yeah, I bet". In the next couple of days my part arrived and later an email apologising for the delay. I was needless to say VERY pleased but having read the posts above I was curious as to what was going wrong with Spares 2 Go, so I dropped them another email. Reading between the lines, they are very busy but also not very good at handling stroppy customers. I also suspect that most of the posters above have actually now received their parts but haven't had the decency to say so. And before you say "I wonder who you work for" I'm self employed and have been for about 20 years, so I know exactly what a pain customers can be. As a previous poster pointed out, Spares2Go have been around for quite a while so they aren't fly-by-nights. Maybe they are just VERY busy trying to track hundreds of orders from all over the world so have some patience and trust.
• Hi,

Firstly, their registered office address (36A Milton Road) is the address of an accountant, so it would be pointless contacting them. Here are the details of the website registrant:

Domain name: spares2go.co.uk
Registrant: Des Coffey
Registrant's address:
71 st.mary street
southampton
Hampshire
SO14 1NW
United Kingdom

.

.....and this business is trades at the same address:

Southampton Service Centre (Domestic Appliance Repairs)
71 st.mary street
Southampton
SO14 1NW

Tel: 02380229832
Fax: 02380333898
Email: sales@soton-service-centre.com

Perhaps these landline phone or fax numbers are worth a try....
 Telephone number unobtainable!!
• I also wish I had done some research on these peps. Bought very expensive fridge thermostat - fitted by electician who thought it was not new due to scratches and marks on cables. Didn't work - have emailed S2G - what are the chances!!!!
• I have recently used Spares2go and far from finding them as CON ARTISTS I found them as a genuine company who delivered great service and a discontinued product with no problem. I find these sites seem to be used by the disgruntled few as opposed to the satisfied majority who receive the service and product they have ordered and then get on with their lives. I would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend them to my friends.
