  • Lovely frittata cut up into small, finger-manageable pieces. It's easy to make ahead, I always think it tastes better cold the next day as opposed to when you first make it and it's warm.
:D**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

    Oh SO many ideas!

    Garlic mushrooms
King prawns pan fried in garlic, white wine and chilli
Chick peas and chorizo in a tomato and pimento/smoked paprika sauce (use the same base as for your patatas bravas)
    Mushroom, spinach and almond tortilla

There's a gorgeous Tapas book in The Works that's very cheap and has some wonderful recipes in.

    Good luck!

I have tried doing a search, but came up with lots of references to Tapas, but no recipes.

I was thinking of doing several tapas dishes for Valentine's Day as there is nowhere very near us that does tapas, and making it myself should be lots cheaper.

We both love prawns and I can't think of anything that we do not eat.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • That's a great idea - we love Tapas but don't have a restaurant nearby either - DH will be very pleased if I do this for Valentines day.

Hope you don't mind me pinching your idea!!! I will post any recipes I find!
  • What about a mezze type affair?

Homemade oven-dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, chargrilled aubergine and olives. Serve with Houmous and toasted pitta breads.
