Sometimes it takes its time to be seen or searched maybe because ebay are checking all of these 20p auctions to make sure they are not trying to confuse people and taking off them auctions.0 -

I guess so,but LOADS more have been listed since 20.30 when mine was scheduled to start??
There is soooo many fake 'genuine undated' (on head side!) 20p's on ebay, can not believe the cheek of some people!0 -

Sometimes if I make a little change in the writing on the page it takes an hour or two for me to search for the item again.0 -

Thought there was no chance of recieving one in change with all the hype in the news.Oh well
Then OMG,,,,,I nearly cried when she came home from school yesterday and showed me 'THE COIN':j:j.
I have checked, checked & checked again, but there is definatly NO DATE ON EITHER SIDE:T
She was given it in change while buying toast at school!!
The local paper are running a story on her and her lucky find!!!
We have discussed that because she recieved the 20p,she can chose what happens to the coin.
Ebay it is destined for, with the final selling price going into a trust fund for when she is older
good luck to others in tier search xx
Did some woman offer you 50 quid plus a bicycle for it?
Congratulations on the find, your daughter is very lucky!
By the way, I read that one of the coins went for £7k yesterday:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1196644/Rare-20p-coin-sells-7-100-eBay-thats-35-500-times-face-value.html
So, whatever you do, do NOT put a low buy-it-now price on your listing!
You might even wish to seek professional advice about what to do with your listing, but, if anything, I would recommend a high high high buy-it-now price - somebody might be that desperate for the coin that they'll pay it.
Also - buy all the extras for your eBay listing, even if it costs £10/15 - it will be worth it, and will mean YOUR listing is seen more often than the 99% of other listings without the extras.
Finally, good luck, and congrats!
Oh, also insist on no Paypal for the payment, as they'll take sh*tloads out of a purchase of several thousand pounds. Insist on personal cheque or direct bank transfer - NO paypal!0 -
Reminds me of Charlie Bucket and his lucky Wonka Golden Ticket find.
