All seem like good ideas.
Does this maybe mean some of the guff from the forum headers can be removed. I know it needs to be obvious to new members but its got so big I can't even view the forum [the reason for this area of the site] without scrolling down to the bottom of the page...0 -
I think the changes are brilliant... :T
Particularly good for the compers to be able to see at a glance which are the most 'likeable' comps!
Many thanks Martin and team...................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -

Thanks Martin - some great features!! I'd rather have a 'mark as read' button than likeability on the comps board - but that's just me being fussy0

Are you going to be implementing the spam button on the Arms and Discussion forum?? I am great , yes I am
:rotfl:If you think I was useful , Thank you, for thanking me

Oh how witty I've just clicked the spam button for this thread. Sorry couldn't resist.
But changes are good, thanks.
Might I suggest a 'shut up' or 'don't like it button' though? There have been times I would have found this useful...0 -
I would prefer it if when you press one of the buttons, such as "expired" this button just disappeared, a bit like the "thanks" button disappears when you press it, rather than having a message come up and having to wait until your browser re-directs you or changing the page again yourself.
Some good ideas though.0 -
when i come on the ppi forum i can follow the next thread by using the " view first unread" where has this feature gone? i have to go to the last page now and work my way back, can somebody please help?0

Hi All - agree whole heartedly with Marg.
Have just used 'like ability' button which I think is great idea however was surprised to be taken through to sep. page and then have to go back - better if just disppeared like 'thanks' button as Marg says, which I suppose is what I was prob. expecting.
Anything that cuts out extra (instead of generating more) navigating is less intrusive, quicker & easier for all. Still think all buttonn are great idea but if could just 'disappear' or show 'used' without going to sep. page would be even better!!!!!
Plus ... have anyone's pages gone wider or id this just me - can't seem to see screen without using the bottom 'scroll bar'0 -
Great idea Martin, diff methods of using the forum and pinpoint the ones liked the best. I do agree with Pip & Marg though...I haven't pressed any buttons as yet but it would be best if it didn't take you thru to diff page as it takes longer & therefore folks won't wanna press the button.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0
