What coupons did you use? Im about to go to my local Tescos and try and get some of this wine but any extra coupons would be helpful
Hi there - I put the link on my post (it's here Money Off Coupons ). Basically just sign up to everything on page 1, print off the coupons, read the thread for other people's experiences and help, take your coupons to Tesco and they should give you the money off your shopping even if you don't buy the product!:T It's also worth keeping tabs on the Newspaper Summary thread (just search for it on this site under Forums - there's a new one every day) which gives hints and tips on where to get them out of your daily papers and there's also a Magazine thread which also lets you know where other MOC's can be found. Sometimes it's worth buying a newspaper, etc. as you get more value in coupons than the paper cost - last weekend's Daily Mail was a good example of this.

    Good luck :D
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

People have been banned from clubcard for returning stuff in the past in order to keep the bonus points - Tesco consider it 'Not in keeping with the spirit of the scheme' or something. Please don't do it

don't worry - we like our wine too much not to keep it and already have some rose chilling in the fridge! It was just an idle thought late last night after reading ampersand's post: simply wondered how it worked.

I was shopping in Tesco (South Wigston) today, there were load of Torres Vina Sol (white) on the shelf.

Thanks for this - they had run out of white the night before so I may pop in to check if they still have any white left later on. I managed to get 5 rose and red the other evening, making it up to 6 with one of our favourites.

Just been to my local extra store (danestone) and they had run out of red so got 3 white @ 5.98 and 3 rose but was charge 6.49 for each. Is this the same price everywhere?

Tried to double up coupons to spend on wine but girl would only take 2 5.50 coupons even though I also had a 1.50 and a 3.50 coupon, she said they had to be doubled up in values of 5 or 10 pounds... didn't realy understand. Got the extra 900 points though.

What a bargain, used £20 worth of Clubcard points to get £40 worth of wine deals. Only problem was there were only 6 bottles of Rose in shop no others. Still used £30 of the deals and got 900 points. £36 towards next years eurotunnel for hols. Going back today to see if there's more white. Many many thanks. Ps Rose is nice but needs to be well chilled.

Any silly beggar can pay full price, it takes skill to find bargains.

Am I having a thick day? I can't get my head around this - you used what would have been £80 (£60 I suppose if you didn't use all the coupons) off your eurotunnel, to gain £36 off instead?

I considered doubling up before I went wine shopping yesterday but my husband said why spend (for example) a merlin pass worth of points, just to gain enough points for half a merlin pass - 6 bottles of wine isn't worth losing out on the other half of the merlin pass, not when you can buy if for a quarter of the merlin pass.

I decided to pay the £27 cash instead, but no wine in my store anyhow :(

See your point, actually...But I guess the net difference is £6 of vouchers (£24 worth at 4x) for 6 bottles of wine...which is still a good deal, no?
    :)

    :)

so, in this case with the points on the wine it's just a case of losing points or paying cash, same value?

Yesterday I was also looking at doubling up to buy the birthday toys, which with no points back would have been a waste (great for people who don't want deals though), but for the wine offer I suppose it's okay :D

My sister and I have both been in the position this year of being a few points short of a merlin pass. I bet if I doubled up I'd be kicking myself next year, when we'd probably be short of points again :rotfl: Sometimes points are few and far between.

If you check over on HDUK, there's a thread with a complete list of all of the bonus point offers at Mr Ts at the mo - grab a few of those and you'll have a few spares :)
