Massive Tesco points loophole. Spend £27, get 6 bottles of wine & £36 Tesco Rewards

Checked in my Tesco Extra in Aylesbury - although the shelves were empty, they did have bottles of red, white and rose out the back. On shelf says 150 points/bottle and 25% off for 6! well worth it! :T

Can (if you can find them) buy 2 white, 2 red and 2 rose and get 25% off or do they all have to be the same?

Went to Tesco Blue Boar Sprowston Norwich, no white on shelf, they had Rose, but I like white! They checked out the back and brought a box out, he put it on the shelf, I put all 6 bottles in my trolley!

I paid with old clubcard points doubled up, £30 worth, and got my 900 extra points. Had a few other clubcard vouchers from the wine club, and ended up paying a grand total of £1.15 for 6 bottles of Torres, a cheap bottle of Italian white wine, milk and cat biscuits. Came out with a very big smile on my face. BARGAIN!!!

Just got back from Tesco (Rawtenstall). I was buying the cava and a security guard marched over and told me that I could only have 3 bottles of each wine. Another staff member was called over and they started emptying my shopping bags out to check that I didn't have more than 3 of each one. I left with 3 rose and 3 white so still got my discount but was pretty cheesed off with them. No mention of that in the promotional posters in store and they made me feel like a shoplifter!

Great offer though, so I may sneak back tomorrow and get some more :T

I bought 12 bottles (6 red and 6 white) -paid £53-86; received 1854 points (£74-16 in clubcard deals) AND received a 5p per litre off voucher for fuel for spending over £50!

Thanks to OP and others who have contributed. Did not find any Torres left on the shelves, but did find the expensive cava that was mentioned, so bought 6 bottles. Looking forward to spending all the tesco points and cracking open a bottle of the cava tonight! :beer:

I have been to Bicester (2) and Aylesbury.

If you look at the Wine website, a lot of the stuff they have extra points on is discounted heavily. I think they're using it to push bin ends.

went to Tesco's at Copdock Ipswich, no sign of Torres wine in any colour!! But my favourite Hardy's Crest Cabernet Shiraz was 50% off and then another 25% if you bought 6 bottles. Cracking deal. Got three cases and 5p off petrol voucher
