Cool - they named a wine after Liverpool's number 90

Just been to Tesco in Shaftesbury Dorset, already sold out of Rose,so bought 4 x red an 2 x white, might pop back again though as a fairly small store not much stock. Saw a few other bottles including the Cava on points bonuses now0

Excuse me for my ignorance of all things clubcard.
Does this mean that I buy:
6 x bottles @ £5.99
----
Subtotal: £35.94
--
25% off
--
Total: £26.96
--
I then get 900 clubcard points. What are these points worth (not in deals) and how soon can they be used? I read somewhere that it was like £18 off your next shop? How does that work?
If that is the case, the wine is effectively £9 for 6 bottles?!
Thanks for clarification.0 -
:T
Thank you - I just bought 6 of the Torres red at £35.94 - less 25%( -£8.99) and got 900 points. Plus I used my wine voucher buy 4 bottles and get £1.50 off! What a bargain ! and of course every little helps!

It won't be off your next shop. Your points will be added to your account. Vouchers are issued from your account 4 times a year (iirc the next time is September). So your points will sit there for a couple of months, plus any more you get, then...for 900 points you'll be issued a £9 voucher in the post. You can take the voucher to a Mr Ts store and spend it on £9 worth of stuff. You could also trade it for "double up" vouchers, where (iirc) you'd get a £10 double up voucher to spend in store and the remaining £4 would be put back into your account for the next mailing.
Alternatively, you can go online and trade the £9 voucher for £30 of deals vouchers, for a meal out, magazine subscription or the other things people have been mentioning on this thread. That will be 4x£7.50. The other £1.50 will be added to your account for next time again.
Hope that helps a little.0 -
Tesco staff couldn't find this wine when I went in today so I bought six of the Tesco Finest Sicilian wine (three white and three red) £5.99 each, (35.94), less 25% (26.95) used my £5 points for £10 worth of vouchers (£16.95) and got 626 points and got 200 extra points when I spend £10.00 on health/beauty products. Not bad for decent wine! But obviously all Tesco's don't sell the Torres or the staff had it all!0

Saw this in the weekly email and rushed straight to my local Tesco; no stock just an empty space, went to the nearest Tesco Express; no stock.
Will definitely be going back in the morning to check.
What a great deal :beer:Life is too short to drink bad wine!0
