Thanks, that is a bit clearer now. I just wanted to work out the true cost of the wine. I am not sure I am interested in any of their other deals, but do occassionally shop there.

To summarise then for standard points, £27 for the wine and £9 back in september(ish) = £18 for the wine = £3 per bottle.

:TBig ups for this one! Just bought 4x Red; 4xRose; 4xWhite = £73.48
    Minus discount of £18.46 = £55.38 + 1855 points (worth £74.20).

PLUS 5p per litre off petrol. Bought 51 litres so a further saving of £2.55.

    KER CHING!

There are other wines £5.49-£6.99 that get 100 points per bottle.

Well, you'd get £9 back in September, double up (would be stupid not to), get £10 in deals and £4 in your account. If you spend another £73 or something between now and December, you'd then get another £5 to double up to £10. - so the wine would cost you £7 = 1.16/bottle.

    *useless at maths warning*

IF the discount is coming off the Cava at £10.99 a bottle, and IF the 300 points a bottle is working, it's a <£50 spend for a £72 (deals) return.

Great if you have a wedding or some such coming up...

but please, please check the math!

    Great deal!!

That's something I was going to ask about the CC actually...I went to scan my clubcard yesterday and the woman said "oh, you don't need to do that if you're paying with the Tesco CC..."

Is that actually the case? I've now had the points added onto my CC total - 1853 or something, but should I have gotten the 53 added onto my regular clubcard account to? I thought part of the point of the tesco CC was that you got more points in store?

I think this must be a clever loss leader, I have been to three stores now and neither have stock, not only that but they only have shelf space for a 1 bottle row. I suppose they think you will buy something else if there is non of this left.

Be interesting to know what stores actually stock it.

I have been to Bicester (2) and Aylesbury.
