Just looked at some completed Ebay listings and noticed that several 20p coins have been sold for about £50.
Described as undated on the Queen's side, which is true but they are normal 20p's with the date on the other side. One even has a photo showing the date!!0 -
i actually have one of these 20ps - any suggestions to what i should do? ;p0

Astonishingly effective technique :T to create buzz around something (coin in this instance) & having people to look at your website (collecting addresses in the process) and then use it to other purposes (e.g. direct selling/offering of other coins). Brilliant marketing exercise!iaye carramba!0

No seriously, well done Squishy !!!! :T:T:T:T:T:T:j:j:j
Keep an eye on e-bay and see what they really do sell for. Then decide if you want to try to sell it now (might be a good time if people are excited and offering a lot for them) or maybe keep & try to sell it later if you think it may increase in value..... but if loads and loads start to find (poss. 200, 000) and put on e-bay etc., people will start offering + pay lot less for them as loads on there - things like this are always a gamble. If you haven't got an ebay account you could join or get a friend to put it on for you but you can follow the sale of the coins without joining to see if they are really selling and at what price.
You could aways keep it for interests sake or what about this - if you have something special coming up in the family, like a birth, (or an anniversory from something that happened in 2008) etc., it could make a really nice special present. I think the original post said that you could get free presentation cards to put them in so that might be worth a try even if you keep it yourself, if not you could use one of those padded earing/ring boxes etc to put it in.
Whatever you decide good luck!!!!!!!!!
Anyone else get one?0 -
