Best wishes for your wedding Helen:T
    I've had 4 nsd's so far:j

Spent £12.89 at lidl tues and £4.56 at mr m's on wed so making my total spends so far £28.79:D which means I still have £71.21 left to go:T:T:T

This month looks to be on track, but must start to meal plan. Even if I don't stick to the plan exactly, It should mean less waste:T, not that I have much waste, end up with funny concoctions:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well I, thankfully, had a no spend day yesterday so hurrah to me :j. Today would normally be a NSD as I am at work but have managed to not have anything to fill a sarnie with for lunch so will prob end up buying something there :o
Got to get a few bits tomorrow for the BBQ but have decided that things like BBQ (which will only happend about twice a year when entertaining) should come out of a different budget (I do have a small amount set aside for entertainment) so will now update my sig taking out the few quid that I have already spent on BBQ :D
It isnt going to help me stick to my budget but should help a little bit and as everything else IS included in my GC I am happy at my decision that BBQ's are now classed as entertainment :rotfl:
    Emma

    Aug GC - £88.17/£130
NSD - target 18 days, so far 5!!

Was pretty miffed at DH yesterday. Bless him, he is doing the weekly shop when he gets in from work and taking DD (2) with him so I can get a couple of ours with the baby and hopefully a nice quiet bath if she is asleep. But... ;)The shop, according to MySupermarket, was 31 something quid. He comes back with about 41 quid of shopping! On one hand I know that it isn't as if the extra money was earmarked for anything and won't leave us short, and he does deserve treats like the packet of Hobnobs, cider, Pringles, and other things he decided we "needed", especially considering he works for the money, but I did feel very much like "why did I bother spending ages putting together a shopping list full of interest and nutrients for a reasonable cost?" I guess I have come to view this sort of thing as my responsibility, my "job", so just felt a bit pee'ed.

Anyway - all is good :D Will dig out receipt later and update having had a good ole therapy session there :rotfl:
Love and compassion to all x

    Morning all!

Popped to Mr T's last night for the stuff to take to the holiday cottage to start us off so we don't starve until we get to a supermarket/pub.
Managed to spend £28 somehow but it did include some toiletries and 2 packs of Tesco tampons (64s) that are reduced for some reason to 48p a pack! That'll keep me going for ages! (till the menopause! Only joking! I'm 37!)

I'm not going to take the spends off my grocery challenge money as its classed as holiday spends so far - we'll see how that budget goes first!

We're off tomorrow so hope you all have a good mid month week!

:rotfl: That's a good price though I'll go later & see if I can stock up for DD. Thanks for posting it. Have a good holiday too :D

    Afternoon all

Been AWOL for a bit as computer and broadband had probs, but now all working again! Been a strange couple of weeks, all of a sudden got my head in the zone for losing weight and have been really really good - lost nearly a stone in 3 weeks - had to plan food carefully but haven't done to badly. Did last shop of the month this morning, and am £17.74 over but not to disappointed with that. Really enjoying Mr A's Super 6 - been helping greatly. Won't declare until next week.

Have a great weekend and keep safe and well everyone.

I spent another 9.60 in the co-op last night on some frozen fish and some whoopsies. And then a friend brought me two packs of bacon from her shop as use by date was yesterday.
Another freebie to use up next week.

Really annoyed with myself as I've forgotten to defrost the chicken thighs for tonight's tea. Instead I've now got to pop up the shop to get some eggs so we can have an alternative meal off the menu plan. Never mind... i need eggs anyway so I can make some more cakes for the freezer.

Another NSD for me today but it has been really hard for me.:o I will definitely be going shopping tomorrow as we have friends coming over for Dinner tomorrow night and we are also running low on milk, f&v etc etc.

Dinner tonight is my easy Friday usual of Fish, HM chips & mushy peas. Pudding will be Chocolate Yogurt Cake, had some yoghurt left from Curry the other night so thought I'd use it up - I know I copied the recipe from here but now I can't find the link:confused: so if anyone can put it on here then please do, otherwise if anyone wants the recipe then I'll type it on here.;)
