Greenbee sorry i missed if you replied asking about the pedometer.

I need to get my steps up x

I didn't reply this week... I was trying to remember what I'd put before! Make sure that you find one that has a reset button that is either recessed or covered. I have some I was given as part of the Global Corporate Challenge - they just measure steps - but in the past I've had a Eurohike one which also measures calories and distance (if you set it up properly). https://www.pedometers.co.uk has a HUGE selection. I think several people here have got a basic one from Argos. Well done on your weight loss - you're all doing far better than me!

Like soappie & froddy I've got hot, muggy and overcast weather here. I'm still very tired, but think I really need to get myself moving today! So once I've caught up on my email I'm going to have breakfast, get dressed and make a start on the flying. I also need to get the garden sorted out.

    vanilla - huge hugs.

carlsberg - your DH is very lucky to have you, and hopefully some good will come out of him having told you the worst of things. However, I think the others are right when they say you may need to rethink the relationship with his BIL, as it clearly isn't a positive one.

remember to drink lots of water/fluids in the heat ladies
    Very very good advice

It's getting hot here already! My plan is to work hard on the LR today, and also do a few bits in the kitchen - DH did some demolishing trying to find out where those bugs were coming from last night, so I've got some cleaning up to do! It's quite good really, as I will be able to get into places I can't normally clean.
I also really want to do lots of steps and maybe even go outside for a walk.

Nice picture of your children Flower

Jinky if you disappear we will know where you are!

    Hi Embb

Big big hugs Vanilla, I so feel for you and for OH. Would you be able to encourage him to go to the doctors? It sounds like he needs some support from the professionals. You sound like a very loving wife which will really help him too. Self harm isn’t always an attempt to die, it’s more a way to release the intense emotional pain that the person is in. But it’s definitely worth getting some help to find other ways to cope with the pain.

Hugs Methekidsandthecat, hope your hip pain eases up soon and that you get the results of your xray

I'd better go and find my list

ETA: Quillion, I've got a pedometer from Argos, it was only a few pounds, and measures steps, miles and calories. It's pretty good actually

    Evening all,

Apologies but those who dont have me on facebook would not have seen that I went out to party on friday unfortunately it had taken until midday sunday for me to recover - when will i ever learn (was a goof night tho)

unfortunately it means I need to hit one of my hot spots which i think will be the ebay pile as I failed with last weeks challenge i have photographed 25 items but need to list them and more importantly sell them.
jjef now that really does surprise me - you didnt strike me as the kind of lady who would over-indulge:rotfl: hope you have fully recovered and GET THAT ebay started!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: remmeber you said wanted to get things done before the kids come out on hols!
    spirit nice to see you.
AnW'sMum you still have to do 30 mins in the Rof D though even if you dont do much other flying!!! Nag nag Nag!!! will be keeping fingers crossed for a nice forecast for you too - not too hot and dry!

I'm in again - I've noticed a big difference in the house - even my born organised DH has commented on the improvement!
Glad tomorrow's the living room etc again - the clutter isn't too bad, so I'll try Level 2!
phizzimum thats brilliant that OH is commenting about how well you are doing - keep up the good work but dont get too carried away - make it into habits before you try doing all the list. IYSWIM
penguin83 maybe you are doing too much on your dailies? or can you delegate something from your daily list to someone else in the house?
swinstie sorry honey didnt see your post about the racks last night - you really need to let them soak overnight to be effective or all day when you are at work and you will find it a lot easier to clean.
egon you will be tired this week with a new job so you are very wise sticking to level 1 - hope your day went well.
Froddy hope the uniform is pristine :rotfl:- Congratulations on your presentation tonight - have a great evening.
Dusty i DO like your Sunday list:D try hard to keep it that way honey
rosepink now you see what can happen when you dont keep up with things - all the more reason to try to do something everyday - and the next time you go away you need to rememebr to check for leftover food.
Re throwing makeup out – I went to put on my favourite eyeshadow today which I have had since the year dot, and it had grey stuff growing on it. Yuck. another job for you - go through your make-up
Ben and Jerrys do low fat ice cream?? Mmm, must get some! I didn’t know that. How yummy! be careful as often low fat means high sugar content so this wont help your diet - if you seriously want to lose weight then dont have it in the house its just a temptation

It's so nice to be home! I can't wait to get on with things. I love going away and having a nice time away, but I love coming home and being able to get on with things. I wish it was Monday tomorrow! Isn't that sad!
rosepink its MOnday!!!!!!!! so lets see you getting on with things then -you got a special award last week so you need to continue with the good work and work on the lists. AND YOUR WALKING!!!!

SS supergirl hugs babes - hope the week goes well for you
flower what lovely photo - thanks for sharing your lovely children with us and what a gorgeous dress - my kind of dress!!
Dusty (((hugs))) hope the shoulder eases off - take it easy until it feels better.
cyclingyorkie thats the way - start slowly and build up - the more you do the easier it gets next week and then you can incresae your levels - kicks can be arranged if required!!:rotfl::rotfl:
embb hiya hun - so good to see you - I thought we had lost you:rotfl: shame about the LR and the naughty puddy but you will soon get it back in shape. well done keeping the rest of the house in order.
vanilla huge (((hugs))) angel you have so much on your plate - and you shouldnt be staying up watching DH when you are BF and looking after Rhys - you will wear yourself away to a shadow - could you not get some help at nights - can you speak to your doc - dont be embarrassed or stubborn about it - its for the good of you all. Hope I havent offended you.xx
rach only 2 days to go -I hope you managed to get your point across with HR.
methekids hugs for your pain - thats not good - hope the results come back soon and they can help you. DD and DS had better get that list done or they will have me to reckon with and pigpen's mule!!!
soappie happy birthday to your lovely DS

ok off to concoct a list!
Might not be back for a while as I have my morning carer, the cleaner and my Macmillan nurse this morning.

hope you all have a productive day
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last

    You are so wise Toots.

I think it's going to take me all day just to clear the LR floor, sofa, armchairs etc of stuff. It's terrible in here.

First job is to hang out the washing that was washed last night, and then get on.

Done :D when you have a moment please Toots It's so much quicker now the animals appear to have stopped moulting so there's less fur everywhere.

One load of washing about on the line and then the cushion covers are going to get done. A breeze has sprung up at last so the mugginess is a bit less but it's stilll blooming hot. I'll have to keep an eye out on the washing because it's a peculiarly yellow sky which means we may get a storm at some point
