Weekly Flylady Thread 29th June 2009

morning all

feel shattered this morning and not at all ready to go back to work - still have a few minutes as don't start until 10. Hip still really painful - when I first get up from bed/chair have to walk almost doubled over with the pain.

Right shall copy out most of today's list and leave for DD - I hope she does some of it as I think I will be in an even worse state by tonight. Must remember to ring GP and see if results of blood test and xray are back.

Right off to find yet more pain killers - I will rattle soon - and also thyroid and adrenal meds - oh the joys.
Then shower and get ready for work - have not even emptied the car from Mum's yet! Will try and hang out washing and wash up before I go.

I'm suffering. I'm sneezing away and already overheating. I think I'd best crack on with the living room before it gets any hotter! I need to go out to the butcher at some point too. It's DS's birthday today so I ought to treat him to steak for dinner.

Still haven't got my grill trays cleaned but did have a shower with them this morning, ha! They look better so a brillo pad should do the trick today. Sprayed some more oven stuff last night and left overnight and it was disgusting this morning. Kitchen is a mess right now but once get the oven cleaned a swish & swipe will do for the rest of it. Hugs for anyone who needs them x

towels on a hot wash - have put too much detergent in so will need extra rinses.

tonight's tea - in slow cooker.

going to sort out some bills - then heading to start clearing floors!

Swinstie I think you soak them in Bio washing powder, not 100% sure though.

DW and WM on the go, beds made, pack-ups done, got ready for work, fed the cat, sorted littley out - but at the last minute decided to keep her off as she's not well, phoned school to let them know, looked again at the living room and removed all the rubbish and cleared the 2 hotspots, just the floor to clear now but that will be later when I come in from this morning's job.

AnW'sMum thats so sweet, thank you. I've 3 rose bushes here and 2 have the most lovely smell in summer.

Kids all up, dressed, fed and away to school. Rhys up and fed/changed and half sleeping in his car seat.

Now gonna put all the clothes away, reload washing machine and get the last load out on the line. Need to feed the hens and then i'll get the garden done before it gets too hot.

Back from school run, just having second breakfast.

Hoovered all of downstairs by 8:10 including sofas and stairs.
Dailies all done.

Vanilla - hugest of hugs my friend, will DH go to the GP/hospital for a meds review? Could he be readmitted for a while, you need a break hun.

Embb - hope you are ok, we thought you was too busy with BB for us.

Going to wash up and mop the floors and then off to town so see you all at lunchtime.

remember to drink lots of water/fluids in the heat ladies
