    BADGER ALE 50P

My husband bought 2 bottles of Badger Beer today in Mr T's, there are a few different names, he bought "Golden Glory". There is a cardboarg collar on the bottle to win a Landrover Defender, you also get a 50p coupon every time you play. You have to register and then input the code given on the inside of the collar.
I have printed off thye 50p coupon, which is a safe coupon. But here's the thing, I did the usual no it didn't print, so it let me print another one, then another one. I thought it politic to stop there or it could end up in the same situation as the warburtons.

    The site is at badgergame.co.uk

I don't know if all the codes are different but the ones I used are

Yes, I am using a KOS moc every day. Can't recall the Corsodyl one, is it a Couponnet one (I can't print those at the mo) or have I missed a PDF?

And yes, the regulars on here have heard all manner of stupid excuses, I think some SAs roll out a repertoire of lies about coupons, choosing a different answer depending on what mood they are in. I have heard on here before that some stores won't allow mocs over £1 unless you buy the product but it's very rare - more likely to be that SA having a bad day.

Keep trying, you'll hear all sorts of rubbish but after a while it's like water off a duck's back. You get used to smiling and saying 'oh really, could you just call for a Supervisor please because I have a copy of the national coupon policy and that's not quite what it says here...' :o.

In the end, you can even explain the policy to a group of Managers without blushing or feeling even slightly embarrassed for knowing it! And once the policy has been well and truly (and politely) clarified to the right staff members, it can mean the whole store becomes coupon-friendly.

It ain't necessarily so. OH and I and daughter got severely trouted last Sunday at a Tesco Extra that we had not used before. Smirking SA's sent for supervisor who read out her copy of the policy but could not understand what she was reading so sent for a manager. What a battleaxe, who went away for 20 mins and came back with a duty manager who looked frightened to death and did not want to commit himself. We had [1] only 1 coupon per shop [2] only 50% of your shop [3] you have to buy the product [4] can't use coupons with nothing printed on the back [5] can't use internet coupons. All five of them were adamant and standing their ground, so my only course of action was to politely say, " there,s £60 worth shopping in those trollies, we don't want it" and left the store with head held high.:mad::mad:
Life is like a toilet roll. ;) The nearer you are to the end, the faster it goes :D

Does anyone know if the KOS blades are stocked in express stores?
  • I'm lucky as as of yet they haven't changed their coupon policy in my local store - I explained it to the SA today and she was fine with it. (but they have in the T's that I get my petrol from so now I can't shop and get petrol at the same time )

Can I ask what printers people successfully use to print of couponet coupons? I need a new one that also scans and I am looking for suggestions. Obviously price is a factor as is the cost of ink. Couponet hates my current printer - shocking!

    Cheers
