Morning everyone
Do any of you shop at the Tescos in Daventry. I will be there for a long weekend and would like to know if they are Ok with takings MOCs.
Thanks in advance0 -
There's a post on mag thread that says 2 of the mocs in the Tesco mag can be used without buying product...cheese/rice...both 30p...anyone actually know if this is correct?...I mean actually used them without buying the products!!!...they are all Tesco specific which means you have to buy product, but sometimes things do slip under the radar....
A while ago I posted about my comp wins.. and said that I always have the radio on whilst entering online comps...have won 14 holidays by doing exactly this over the last 5 years( also won hols via net comps as well)...must be my lucky day...just won a lovely break ( 2 nights) at destination of my choice staying at Innkeepers Lodge...doing all my Daily entries whilst still in bed, radio on, comp announced, dialled number and got through and won....well pleased...on a roll at the moment....0 -
They sold loads KOS gels, scrubs etc in clearance a while back, it was also on 3/4/2 at same tome so gel was 60p not £4 and 3/4/2. I got loads the stuff, they also had Ted Baker bags going through at 3/4/1 at half price - usually £14 each 3 for £7. I pick fusion razor sets up reduced to £2.50p.
At the momentthere are spend over £5 get free coupon £5 off particular stuff. If u buy the olay cleanser or time delay face cream its £5.86p so u pay 86p, however u get another voucher too, so off u go again....:T
Really I too miss the Boots grabbit thread...which had fantastic finds of glitches, I would not have found otherwise.
Wish that thread starts again.....!!!!!!0 -
The values are like £5 off glade, £6:75 of garnier, £7 off finish.
I think you are referring to airwick? it was in Nov/Dec 09 - £6 printable coupon. which is now expired.SandDancer wrote: »why were they doing your credit rating
I dont know, thats what she said (the person who took my call, put me on hold & came back & said the other dept said I am not qualified, according to their credit rating checked), I think it is their own internal credit rating, when I said what rating? she said something like my subscription with virgin media is way below the qualifying points. Which means subscribe to the maximum for their monthly services. I am not that worried bcoz I know it was not the actual credit rating we all know.
I didnt expect to get the netbook anyway. I only paid max. £20 a month (phone rental, broadband & also I get free freeview box from them) including unlimited calls. That is why I failed.mrs_moneyspinner wrote: »is there a trick to getting a result with Mars prize promotion? I have tried with the no purchase necessary link and get emailed a code which is always unsuccessful (only one allowed per day). Am I missing something? thanks all.

Welcome and thanks for the info...probably same as the other week...there were a few mocs which were £2 off £8/£10 spends( I think) in the Saturday paper and the Sunday one was £5 off £25 on anything ..other than food( were some exclusions...can't remember all details..) did use all the Sat mocs though, think they were valid for the whole of the following week...0

I think I must have read through the entire thread now but have only tried using MOCs at Tesco twice. The first time I was told that the coupponet ones can only be used if buying the product. Today in a different store (I did not try the coupponet ones as I did not have any on me) I was told that MOCs for £1 or more off the value could not be used unless the item was purchased.
The MOCs they would not accept:
£1 off any l'oreal paris (from cosmo magazine I think)
£1 off Corsodyl (printable)
£1 off King of Shaves (printable)
But they did take the 50p off Domestos Grot buster, 35p off Domestos, 50p off CIF multipurpose and 50p off CIF actifizz. Also had a few McCain ones from the local paper and a kellogs coupponet for free box of cereal (which I bought) so go about £7 quid off a £15 shop.
Has anyone successfully used the king of shaves and corsodyl ones or heard of any restriction on the value of a MOC when not purchasing the product?0 -
ive used both the king of shaves and the corsodyl without buying the product!
if you read the thread at the start most stores accept 1 of each coupon, no matter what the value even if you are not buying the product, but if you use 2 coupons for the same product you have to buy one of that product
my store is great and accepts most coupons, ive even had cashiers say "yes i printed these off last night" and that makes me feel better about using them, if its ok for tescos staff then its ok for us folk!;)0 -
I have used the king of shaves and corsodyl with no problems at all:j0

I've tried both of these after reading they might work, I tried the cheese one day and the rice the next, both rejected so not worth stocking up on magazines.
Well done on all of your holiday wins,14 in 5 years is some going but like they say on the lottery you have to be in it to win it. Enjoy your latest win.
Big congratulations to Gill for being a grandma again and Pink, an auntie again. Lovely news.
