Moyilla, I think if I were in your shoes I wouldn't go and see the Manager. More hassle than it's worth TBH as you're not banned or anything. They've said you are very welcome to shop there, and the Finish £2 mocs have ended now anyway.

I would just cover yourself a bit. Copy & paste & print out a version of the email from Finish - posted earlier by sinw (and it's the same as Finish sent me). Carry it around with you for a few weeks in case of any repercussions or comments from whoever reported you, it would be fun to be able to disprove any further 'photocopy' accusations. I think some stores did think the Finish £2 moc was a photocopy because it looked the same as an original which was around at the same time (which is an unusual situation).

The only issue would be the 'competitor product' coupons they've mentioned. Did you use any money-off a product coupon which had another store written on it? I would double-check through the t&cs in your moc pile to make sure you haven't got any in there by mistake which are not non-store-specific.

If you only have truly NSS mocs then you are fine, I would just avoid those obscure magazine printables if I were you unless you are certain you have seen them selling one of the titles.

Hmmm, just a thought, did you use one or two of those? Maybe it was one of those mag ones they thought was for WH Smith (it does mention them but is allowable in any participating stockist). Be extra careful with these and only use maybe one or two of them per month - and only for a title they stock - if you want to avoid any issues.

P.S. Get well soon all those with swine flu! _pale_

    Hi everyone,

My mistake re Finish I didn't buy the Rinse Aid I bought the cleaner - sorry for the confusion :o (I was in a bit of a flap last night) I only ever bought the Rinse Aid using other MOC's and 1 x £2 Finish.

I have never used any of the new mag coupons. I have only used what's on the 1st page, newspaper MOCS (Transformers stickers 15p off Express etc ) and Pik a Pak's.

And they have always been printed in colour too.

I have used £5 off when you spend £50 from Sainsbury's but I always asked CS first and I was told by them as long as it's not 70p off tuna when you buy at Sainsbury's etc

It would just be nice to know which one they are referring too and how they get to the conclusion of how it was a photocopy. And is there maybe someone else who is abusing it in my store

After re reading the letter I also realised that Mr T's could have asked for the money and they could have banned me too :eek: but they have not so there is no way I would be causing a fuss - I don't have that in me anyway :rotfl:

Thanks again for all your advice guys xxx

    Hello all,
Tried to use coupons printed with genuine codes from my Warbies toastie [lunch] at Tesco in Horwich near Bolton. I was buying the products, a milk roll amd cans of tuna, total 60p, and was refused because the coupons were printed from the internet. They will not accept any printed coupons now because the system was being abused as I was informed by a Team leader.

    Hi chocolateone

after reading your post I contacted a friend of mine who shops in the Tesco Horwich store.

She goes in everyday except Sunday (visits family) and always uses coupons including internet ones.

She tells me that she went in yesterday and used £25 in coupons including around 20 internet ones.

It really comes down to the shop assistant and supervisor on duty unfortunately.

She had words with the customer services manager a couple of weeks ago and gave them a copy of Tesco coupon policy. The policy was checked with head office and she was advised that they will stick to the Tesco National policy in future.

Take a copy of the policy with you when you shop and ask to speak to the Customer Services Manager if you have problems.

    Good luck
