Back from fishing and just wanted to say hope your daughter gets well very soon jeferey.....
will catch up with other stuff later , absolutely exhausted, it turned out to be so hot today and must have walked about 5 miles down river then back up carrying lots of gear, the river was flowing so fast after all the rain... caught 1 very nice barbel about 9/10lbs , even though was fishing for chub, no complaints as barbel are very hard to catch on our clubs stretch of the River Dove...need to soak my feet now...

    Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well. I'm just back from a nice day out with the children to come home to a hand written envelope from my local Mr T's.

Inside was a letter saying the following

    "Dear Miss xxxxx
RE Coupon Use at XXXX store

On the 15th & 16th July the clubcard registered to you was used at our checkouts for shopping detailed on the receipt enclosed. It was noticed that the coupons redeemed against this shopping are not acceptable for two reasons :

    1. They are photocopies
    2. We do not accept competitor product coupons

To help you understand which coupons we accept I have enclosed a copy of our coupon policy for your future reference. I hope you find this information useful.

I hope we may still look forward to your continued and much valued custom.

Yours sincerely for and behalf of Tesco Stores Ltd

    xxxxxxx
    Checkout Services Manager.

I am really upset by this letter. I have NEVER used a photocopied coupon and I NEVER would. I make sure I abide by the coupon policy religiously. The coupon was the £2 Finish one.

The coupon policy they have sent me is very detailed, (a full A4 page and not Store Specific)and says that they accept competitor coupons which contradicts what they have said.

I feel really, really awful, worse than when I have been challenged by a SA.

Can you guys give me any advice? What would you do if you got the letter?

    Thank you everyone xxx

in view of the warby's saga and the logging of IP addresses on couponnet is everyone still printing 2 of each couponnet coupon, if allowed or just the one?

I would phone the store and ask if they still have the coupons they are referring to. If they have, I would arrange a visit to see the Checkout Manager and then he/she can explain exactly what the issue is.

    Good luck

I would scan a copy of the policy, and post on here if it is in any way different from the ones already posted,
Then I would take the letter into the store and ask to speak with the manager.
    You have done nothing wrong,.
You can explain that the finish was on their web-site, and that you know some-one who was emailed by them saying it was ok to use.....check back on the forum...(I think it was CM)
and you also need clarification of the conditional spend coupons from other stores, although they say you used "product coupons", in which case a quick apology would be in order,(and perhaps offer a different MOC in it's place;))as it would show that you want to play by the rules.
You are now well above the "radar" so you have nothing to lose by being able to say you have discussed it with the manager if you get pulled up by a superviser in the future:beer:
If he agrees with you on the two points his store raised, you may well find them acting a bit more favourably towards you, especially since they have put their "error" in writing...
Best of luck, let us know how you get on:beer::beer:
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)

I would also get in touch with store to see the coupons as the previous OP said. As they mention competitor "product" coupons not conditional spend coupons.
