Extra 50 points if you buy 2x 6 packs of Walkers Sunbites or those new Walkers Baked 6 packs, and extra 25 points on boxes of Maltesers.......
....Went to a trainee today and bloke training him said this lady will have quite a few coupons and as you haven't taken any yet this will be a good opportunity for you to learn our store policy and also learn how you scan them etc....then he said
' you won't have any problems at all with this ladies mocs, they will all be perfectly legit but I'm sure she won't mind if we check them all carefully so you will know what to look for'...I handed over my pile..I then intervened and said ," they are all in date, you sell the products, and there is only 1 of each as I haven't bought any of the products that they are for, but if there was more than 1 of a coupon then I have to have purchased it,they are mostly, but not all ,internet printed and those that are , are in full colour and have not been photocopied....blimey said the SA, you know it better then me, but then you should 'cos you do use them every time you shop...don't you? Yes, I said, I love 'em and would never abuse the policy as it is the best thing ever....the young trainee then said ' blimey, you saved ever such a lot of money using those' .............the SA then said to the trainee, you must always check coupons very carefully, if you take any that are not legit you'll be in very serious trouble....so I think that gives a response to some of the above ponts that have been raised re using out of date mocs...it's not clever...it's stupid, and it will get someone into trouble, and maybe get the coupon policy in your store revoked....no-one wins abusing mocs.....and I cannot check the coupon either 'cos I deleted it as soon as I had printed off the last one I was to use on Thursday...

if you have been using the same voucher 4 times every day in the same store, then your couponing days are numbered anyway.

WHY would this be the case?
    they were legit coupons

What tbw means is that most stores would view multiple visits in the same day as one shopping trip split into different baskets.

Therefore you will have used the same voucher more than once without buying the product.

Some stores, however, (MM5's for instance, if I recall correctly;))even allow the splitting of shopping on the conveyor belt, and repeated MOCs to be used.

But the general rule of thumb is one visit per store per day, if using MOCs, otherwise it MAY be viewed as abuse, with resulting changes to the coupon policy for the individual or the store.
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

I'm sure you know the answer already but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt! Tesco policy is that you can use one of each type of coupon if you do not buy the product - so long as they are IN DATE(and I know you have your own interpretation on that point!) and they are all different. Tesco policy does NOT accept customers splitting their shopping on the conveyor belt so as to use 2 ,or 3 lots of the same coupons and it does NOT accept customers going in and out of the same store on the same day using the same coupons. Both of those ploys are craft ways of getting around the one coupon rule, we all know its a ploy and so do Tesco ! If they spot you doing it - highly likely if you really are doing multiple shops per day every single day (they'd have to be really daft if they don't recognise you!) , especially if you are using dud coupons which are out of date - they will take you to one side and have words! And those words will not be nice and will probably result in you being told to sling your hook and never darken their door again.

I don't expect you will heed the warning - anymore than I expect you to come on here and tell us when it all goes pie shaped for you.

TBW can you help me please? Me & my DH go to Tesco together once a week. We usually have a pile of MOC's each. DH does the family shopping using his clubcard & I do my parents shopping using my clubcard. I always hand over a similar pile of coupons to DH to help out my parents as they don't have much money. Would that count as abuse? I'm really worried now :o

I'm thinking of buy some on Ebay, they have some listed which are valid until March 2010 (item 150359455245) so if some more come up in the meantime they won't be wasted i'll just pop them to one side until 2010. I might make them an offer and see what happens....:o
