I thank everyone wether I agree or disagree with their comments because I think if nobody posted on here then there would be no thread. For the record I actually gave some of my finish away that I had left over on the last day rather than throw them away or use after the expiry. Have a drink of Torres and cheer yourself up hilly

Wow... you mean like TESCOs ripping off the product Manufacturers ???? if there eyes arnt good enough for the small print then its not my fault!! off to Tescos again in abit....
And NO im not maxing the MOC usage short term, actuall LONG TERM ive used them 4 times a day everyday since they were published along with other different coupons....
Tescos accepting coupons for products you dont buy WILL stop at some stage, so why not make the most of it now... and im quite sure alot of the silent people in here will use the finish coupons today too.

To the moners....can you clearly see the 16th? or could it be the 18th??????

you are not going to be popular with us on the forum or tesco. your short term gain is everybodies long term loss. others-290.gif

and as one of the "moaners" thats no excuse YOU know its wrong, and not clever

AS I SAID THE SMALL PRINT IS SO SMALL SO COULD BE READ AS 16th OR 18TH.....TESCOS will reclaim the money anyway, these can be held for months by the store, and as its not actually for the product, then as i said....its TESCOS Committing Fraud. Its not as if its a forged coupon or bought off Ebay or anything, they are original coupons.....

For a start... the store is in TELFORD, secondly I AM A MAN

I think its now time to say, thats enough, think we now have an idea of your personality, no matter wot you say you will not justify your usage of out of date coupons, YOU know the dates, thats the last I have to say, djrich1 I hope you have the gall to tell us when your store stops taking mocs.:eek::eek::eek:

Just wanted to thank everyone for posting new coupons and keeping the thread updated. The Finish coupon was good while it lasted but there are others to replace it thanks to the kindness and generosity of fellow posters. Thank you all and very much appreciated.

Why hasnt anyone answered this question? im not here to cause an arguement, and wont be using those coupons after today...

All i have done is used some coupons where the expiry date is the 16th July, but that 16th is so small it could read the 18th July, TESCOS accepted them....if they dont read the small print correctly, then its not really my problem is it????

Like BLUEWKD said earlier 'I thank everyone wether I agree or disagree with their comments because I think if nobody posted on here then there would be no thread.'......its a forum, we have a right to post

    AND

M4RITN 'I'm sure they are not the only one........'.... is anyone going to own up?

Sorry to have opened a can of worms guys. I am a moaner in that YOU KNOW the MOC is OOD yet you chance it hoping the SA won't see it. I couldn't care what happens to you but the policy is always in jeopardy so erring on the side of caution & playing the MOC fairly in as far as T accepting them without the item being purchased is in our benefit. IF you really care that the policy exists & the manufacturer is being fleeced DON'T use MOC if you're not buying.

You could always consider your comments from a previous post & go easy for your long term gain. I'd hate to see it stopped in any store, even yours.

Im getting slightly peeeee'd off with an old dragon (deb) at my local Tesco's in Shrewsbury, whenever i go with coupons she says comments like... 'we are stopping coupons soon' 'do you realise you are holding the people up behind you' 'where did you get these from' 'have you used these before' 'we cant accept these' shes very rude and stroppy and if i was a woman id be tempted to slap the trout.... all the other assistants are fine, its just her, do i write a complaint or just take it on the chin and smile?

To answer your question....it WAS valid from 9th April to 16th July 2009.
It has been discussed heavily in the last week that the finish was going to expire on Thursday:confused:
Everyone does have a "right" to post, as does everyone else have the right to point out errors if they feel it necessary to do so.
I'm not going to go down the road of "name calling" that others have, but I think it may be wise for some people to re-educate themselves on the longer term benefits of coupon use... most notably the ones that haven't read and thanked Lori for the coupon links and FAQ's all neatly arranged on the first page;):beer:
    Happy couponning, one and all:D:beer:
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)

    ?

If you read back a number of regulars here deleted their finish doc's on Thursday night so can't look at a moc to answer the question. I hadn't deleted it but used for the last time on Thursday and won't be trying to use it again. I've printed one out just to answer your question so you don't feel ignored. I can see it's the 16th. a 6 and an 8 are very different shapes. If you'd made an honest mistake it would be one thing but you have said you know it's the 16th, it's been mentioned on here for days it's the 16th. But still you plan on using 3 or 4 times today.

I also looked back at your previos posts just like hogshead and came accross one where you were told that they were stopping mocs in Shrewsbury completely. Knowing there's a risk i would have thought it better to only use in date coupons as per Tesco's policy. As I say if it's a genuine mistake ok, but using an out of date one, no way is that ok. I think it's wrong to blame the Tesco staff too.

I see it was also answered by vc while I was typing. Well done on the ball this morning vc, I see you didn't give in.
