Thanks for that.
I was reading your reply to the person who's PC was very slow to start up and you said that windows updates can be deleted as they take up a lot of room. I was looking through the size of programs in anticipation of getting rid of McAfee and was amazed how much the updates take up. Is it OK to just delete them all?
Thanks, you are so clever:T
Thats wasnt me that was basmic (I think)
And I never read what he put proper so cant really comment but if he really said to delete ACTUAL windows updates then no. Theyre there to secure your computer. Removing them is certainly not anything id recommend (Though he could have been talking about the backups, but either way id still suggest against it personally):idea:0 -
Have just installed the Kaspersky onto my machine and have to say it seemed to go quite smoothly. Only problem I have is that they emailed me a user ID and password, but when I tried to log onto their site I just a message saying "Incorrect ID or password" even though they are the ones emailed to me

Does it take some time for their system to recognize new registrations or something? Is it anything to worry about?
Thanks.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
Are you sure you 'copy' and 'pasted' exactly as it is?
If so then your probably going to have to call them (Or send them an email explaining):idea:0 -

I tried to use this offer and put in items up to £32 in my basket and use the code, this doesn't work. Having read the conditions more carefully it has to be £30 of goods plus one copy of Kaspersky, then the code worked! Now looking to see what other bits I need from here aswell.. books are always a good option...
Spend £30 or more at Amazon.co.uk and save 50% on Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, 3-Desktop, 1 year Subscription (PC)::- Add any items totaling £30 in value sold by Amazon.co.uk ("Items") plus one copy of Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, 3-Desktop, 1 year Subscription (PC) ("Qualifying Item") to your Shopping Basket via the Add to Shopping Basket button on the product's information page in order to get this promotion.
- On the "Place Your Order" page, enter the promotional code KASPERSK and click the Apply button.
